He'd be moved for a prospect way before talk about Christensen came up.

Ranger fans what would you give up for him .. We need a 3rd liner badly, Lombardi and Bozak just arnt clicking right now and that line badly needs a shake up with Armstrong not looking like he will return in till mid December

I think you might see the Norwegian Hobbit for Fransson. Just a hunch...

a) They're not leaving.
b) If they are, it's going to be for Cody Franson.

I think some Toronto fans are way over valuing Franson. It won't be a top prospect or a top 6 player.

Personally not expecting much when it comes to Franson.

He hasn't even been able to crack our defense that has Komisarek on it. How much value does the guy really have?

Don't get me wrong, he could end up being a solid 4/5 guy who brings a good PP presence, but right now I can't see him bringing much back in a trade.

I would agree, but I was surprised at what Cam Barker fetched last year, and they're similar players in playing style and value.

I don't have high expectations for Fransons value. I'll take a project prospect please.

I agree it obviously won't be a top prospect, but if it's not a top-6 player... then it won't happen likely.

Franson will be a vital part to our success (especially PP) when he's given the chance. Book it.

MZA is literally the most I could see NYR giving up. Youre not getting any of our main prospects ie Thomas/Krieder/McIlrath/Hagelin and youre not getting our core Dubinsky/AA/Cally/Stepan. So MZA's. Christensen, Woslki, Deveaux, and 3rd/4th/5th rounders those are what you'll get back.

We'll keep him if that's the case. We're in no rush to move the guy, especially if all that's being offered is low picks and scrubs.

I would honestly rather keep him, Gardiners injured, Schenn is playing like hes injured, Komisarek is Komisarek ( even though hes been playing solid ) More injuries can happen, id rather keep the depth, unless the rags offer something that would knock my sock off. literally.

Wouldn't be surprised is Sather offered up Wolski for him although I don't really want Wolski and the salaries don't match I think GM's still drool over the guys potential.

What do you expect? Blue-chip prospects? Full-time NHLers?

A decent-good prospect. Like I said before, i could see something Like Thomas for Franson.
