MTL/NJ Kerry Fraser incident
 

I am just wondering if any one here knows where I could find a video of that whole MTL/NJ with Kerry Fraser incident??

Where Jeff Hackett was cleary interfered with and NJ ended scoring..Michel Therrien was the coach, he totally lost it, and then minutes after, Andre Savard came onto the ice and was going balistic! i wanna see that video again, but I cant find it anywhere!!

but i saw it on NHL network once when they were doing a recap of the 2002-03 season

that was a clear as day no goal

now i wanna see it :laugh:

I remember that, Savard was mad as hell it was hilarious! :laugh:

you will never see PG going down to the ice or martin losing it

Who could forget that game?

In the 1st period, a Ribeiro goal is waved off because of "goalie interference", when really it was Brodeur flopping around and Ribeiro having a toe in the crease at the same time.

2-2 late in the 3rd, Hackett goes to play the puck and gets bodyslammed, puck is centered and the Devils score into the empty net, good goal. Game over.

Afterwards Therrien is fuming and screaming at Fraser "EVERY GAME! EVERY ****ING GAME!" Probably referencing the famous "Mustard jacket" game from the Carolina series the season before.

Then Savard comes storming through the tunnel losing his mind. I remember you could actually see a security guard pull out his gun/tazer for a second as he probably had no idea who in the hell Andre Savard was, and thought maybe it was some crazed lunatic fan looking to kill the ref.

Yup, it was the first game he officiated after he screwed us against Carolina. Effectively ending Jose Theodore's career as an elite goaltender.

I remember the message board here that day, it was awesome.

I was so pissed off that night and so amaze to see André Savard pumped. That was a frustrating game as hell. I remember it like it was yesterday.

But really amazed to see a gm yelling at a ref like this.

He was certainly not asking to Fraser (like somebody we know) : ehhh mister Fraser, mister Fraser....me, ehhh mister Savard want to talk to you...eeeh please?

The worst is that year, a lot of ''experts'' were saying Habs would have a shot at a top 4 finish. :laugh: IIRC, the day after that game, they both got canned.

Therrien got fired a week or so after.

Savard at the end of the season for Gainey to take over.

It didn't help that he started off by scoring 5 goals in his first 4 games or something like that. They even had Hossa player tshirts at the Bell Centre, heh.

There was no blue zone back then.
