Reebok Jersey Sizing

I searched for this topic and found a thread from 09 but it did not really answer my question so I'll see if anyone here has any advice.

I am looking to get a reebok jersey to play in and I need some help with the sizing. The one I want is for an AHL team and it would be a Reebok Replica jersey. I think they are called premier. For my team jersey I wear a large Athletic Knit jersey, but those jerseys are made to go over pads and I these premier's are not. So what size do you think I should get? An XL? That is what I was thinking. Anyone ever play in a Reebok Premier jersey and have an idea about size? Thanks

I haven't played in an official replica but I have played with a knockoff Reebok I got from China and I would not recommend it..I used it a few times for indoor pickup hockey before I switched to a black ccm mesh jersey and it was night and day..The knockoffs are heavier, warmer and do not breathe well.. With the thin mesh you can feel the airflow and are lighter

I would NOT recommend having a Reebok Premier jersey as a game jersey. They are thick and hot, not breathable whatsoever. They're made to warm you up when you're sitting in an ice rink as a fan.

If you're dead set on getting one I would definitely go with an XL. I have a large and it's a tight fit where as my AK jerseys are Large and fit a little loose, how i like them.

I bought a Royals (WHL) Reebok Adult Replica Jersey, it's super thin, and it just says ADULT for the size. Now i'm 5'9 130lbs and its pretty tight. hahah i dont know how i get bigger sizing.

I have a Blackhawks premier rep jersey that I've worn in a few games. Definitely heavier than the Reebok practice jersey, but not a big deal heat wise. I'm 6"2-175 and I wear a Large in all these jerseys. They fit true to size. The only Reebok jerseys that fit oddly are last year's practice jerseys with the crests. Those seem to run a little small. Reebok's brand new practice jerseys for this year fit more true to size. I've got a couple of those with numbers on them and I really like them for games.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I have a few Blackhawks Premier jerseys and the material is pretty thin in comparison to my Athletic Knit game jerseys so I think it will be ok heat wise.
