Ferraro twins to play for SSK

Peter & Chris Ferraro signed with SSK today.

http://www.sodertaljesk.se/

Unfortunately, I don't speak Swedish and can't find an online translation beastie to help me figure out what was written there...

I do have a favour to ask our Swedish-speaking posters (whether you live in Sweden or not, although folks who live in Sweden and get to see SSK play would be ideal)... I would greatly appreciate any updates anyone can provide on how the Ferraro twins are faring throughout the season. I imagine I'll be able to find boxscores and such, but it'd be nice to hear from folks who will be watching/have watched them play.

If they happened to get injured, I likely won't hear about it until after they've started playing again, and keeping in direct contact with them will be a little more difficult now that they're going across the pond.

Thanks in advance.

I wonder where the heck SSK gets all their money. Oh well, more quality players to the SEL is always a good thing :)

I have another favour to ask... can anyone please translate the article that's on the SSK website and PM it to me? Posting it here would breach the copyright policy.

Thanks.

I sure hope this doesn't mean that Bergfors will be made the odd man out.

Didn't think of that. Bergfors, Umicevic and Videll will have to fight for their ice-time. Maybe they haven't impressed in the preseason games, other wise it's a stupid move by SSK.

Don´t forget that Rolf Wanhainen, Juha Lind, Peter Larsson, Antti Törmänen and Patrik Zetterberg are gone. They have also raised the ticket prices substantially from last season.

I think they want to have a guy extra in case Jonas Andersson breaks down.

Thats true, except for Peter Larsson (a player I really liked) I think SSK are way better off with the Ferraros and Döme than with the likes of Lind and Zetterberg. The only bad thing about it was that I was hoping both Videll and Bergfors would be regulars this year. Well Dragan too, but he's not a junior anymore.

Yes, before I forget about it.. about translating this and that, should we have a sticky translation thread?

Good idea,
Set one up Riddarn (would be nice to have one sticky that doesn't have me as thread starter ;) ... and I'll sticky it for you.
