The Good -

- Better defensive play
- The Letter Line
- Penalty killing
- Vanek and Boyes with great shootout moves
- Enroth coming up with the shootout win... again.
- Ruff shuffling up the lines, the d-pairs, and shortening the bench. It worked.

The Bad -

- Didn't like Leo on the Cole goal. A weak clear, loses his man and it winds up in the net.
- MAG with some timid, faint-hearted plays in his own zone.

The Ugly -

- Versus. **** off. **** right off.

Good: Penalty Kill

Bad: Power Play

Ugly: Pierre McGuire

Good: 'ole THAT

Bad: me leaving chat to watch the Packers game for a bit

Ugly: another VS game Wednesday

The Awesome: Second in the East without really looking good this year.

I'm not even that happy, mostly because I was so pissed off for the majority of the game. Ruff must have ripped into them during the second intermission.

Gaustad's penalties were dumb. It's like he totally misinterpreted what Ruff probably said to them in today's meeting. :laugh:

-Regehr-Leopold were shaky and considerably less steady than the games before
-Leino, Stafford, Adam.
-Ruff's mancrush on Gragnani. Ehrhoff's play is not helping his case either.

Ugly:

-GDT during the first two periods...Though most of the venting was justified
-Gaustad taking some braindead penalties
-Cole outdoing Gaustad's stupidity

Philadelphia won and will by tied with Pittsburgh for 1st. So buffalo is in 3rd.

No kidding...it's like he yawns after each SO goal he makes it looks incredibly easy.

Despite winning, that was one of the most disappointing efforts I've witnessed in years. Pathetic play which is now acceptable because we won.

In the LOLWUT moment of the night, Brad Boyes was named first star. Yes, Brad Boyes. The guy who got benched for a good chunk of the third period. If Roy wasn't the first star tonight, my name is Sinead O'Connor.

Sabre Tooth knocked out the Habs Zamboni driver with a sleeper hold, and created a tire track for the Habs shooters to deal with. Healthy changes everything, Mother ****ers.

Bad:

I don't like the fact that most forwards on the team don't bother to finish their hits. Some of the guys I can understandably give a pass too some of the time. But not all of the time. And there are some guys who don't do enough to have that attitude, Leino. Finish your checks Leino.

Ugly:

It's not the 23rd.

I disagree, obviously the 1st and 2nd period weren't anything to write home about but we REALLY turned it up for the 3rd, and weren't bad in overtime either. Couple of beastly penalty kills, too.

And if Ruff is rotating D men, Christian airhead is next.

Ville Leino thinks he is a better stickhandler than he actually is.

That's not the way seeding works in the NHL.

Buffalo is 2nd and Pittsburgh is 4th right now, regardless of points.
