It's the only pairing that makes sense if we

1. assume that Doughty, Greene and Voynov all need to play on the right side (as righties I doubt they ever played on the left before) and
2. remember how awful Johnson and Greene were together.

Heh, don't be afraid to kick these guys while they are down. Two wins over the Ducks this week would be great.

The Ducks have a pitiful fan base.

Kick and kick hard. I'd love to be 8 points ahead of these guys after Thursday.

Yep, my feeling as well. As happy as I am to have VV back in the lineup, I'm just as sad for 44DD for being the odd man out. If there's another injury, then I can see 44DD in the lineup, but until then, he just needs to keep a positive attitude and be ready to answer the bell.

From Rich Hammond after practice today (LA Kings Insider) Loktionov says he feels more comfortable at wing. For him, maybe he sees this as a real opportunty, and given his high skill, speed and IQ, h'es a great match for Richards vision.

Richards was asked by Hammond about Loki:

RICHARDS: Hes a skilled player. I think he sees the ice really well. When you have that, you can be creative. It allows you to get more time. You put yourself in the right position all the time, which he does, and hes hard-working too. So hopefully we can get a little bit more offense going and mix it all together.

Hopefully, they'll create alot of noise near that Ducks net and put up points. Richards needs a skilled winger...badly. I think that fact that he recognizes with Loki he can be more creative is a good thing...finally somebody to bury those sweet passes.

4 points in 2 games. That's all we ask.

(and ZERO pts for the Ducks - no OT)

Richards did help Giroux get on track early in his career with the Flyers. Here's hoping...

Yeah I do remember that too.

I'm pretty excited to see how the second line plays! Good line combos. TM is throwing me for a bit of a loop.
