Who should coach team Sweden?
 

The title really says it all. Since this is already under discussion at another thread, I thought it would be fun to see who would win a vote at this board.

I'll start. I vote for Pär Bäckman, though it is a close call between him and Evensson. The rest are in my opinion a class below.

Well, assuming everyone would be healthy/free and willing to coach the Swedish National Team I would go with Conny Evensson. He is the most respected coach by the fans, players and the media.

I think Niklas Wikegård could do some good things to the National Team, but maybe it isnät good to just take coaches from DIF. ;)

Torgny Bendelins mustach get my vote.

I voted "Other" because I would like to see somebody from outside Sweden. We could need some new influences. Perhaps a NA coach with a Swedish assistant. If the federation wants a Swedish coach I could go with Per Bäckman.

If I had to choose between Hardy and this guy :banana:. We would have a dancing banana as a coach. ;)

Boustedt... We need a strong guy if there will be a fight including the coaches like in the game Rus vs. USA or was it Can in the WJCS in the 80s ;) .

No, seriously I choosed between Bäckman and Boustedt. They are both powerful as I wan't the coach to be but what made the difference is that I think Boustedt is more educated and up to date with the international hockey played today. And I think (or maybe hope) that Boustedt has more offensive hockey thinking than Bäckman.
