Yes for sure Montreal properties are cheaper then Toronto and Vancouver, but this is not even on the island of Montreal, so take it with a grain of salt.

DekeLikeYouMeanIt 11-21-2011 10:04 PM

If he retires, I'll be pissed :sarcasm:

That sucks if they broke up. I don't like gossip though so I'm gonna ignore this thread for a bit :P

WestIslander 11-21-2011 10:04 PM

Guy's is that really the point? I personally think that Markov's days in Montreal are numbered.

Your 3 bedroom condo is worth more then 1,5 mil? Even downtown L.A isn't THAT bad.

You mad that this thread is not about drama and gossip?

There's nothing to speculate. Nothing hockey related.

If its really Candiac, then it really a pain to get to Montreal as its on the south shore between the Mercier Bridge and the Champlain bridge. When there's no traffic, maybe 30 minutes..but with the state the Mercier and Champlain bridges are in, its rare that there's no traffic.

real estate in vancouver is horrible...to get a decent condo dt you need at least $750.000.

Aeneas 11-21-2011 10:14 PM

am i missing something besides the fact that, he and his wife split up so he's finding a new place?

Le Tricolore 11-21-2011 10:14 PM

Im kinda wondering the same thing...

Poor Markov... has to be going through a tough time right now. Probably just CANT WAIT to get back on the ice with the team for something meaningful again, and put it past him.

Qui Gon Dave 11-21-2011 10:17 PM

I think the important thing to remember in all of this is that Markov doesn't always give happy, upbeat interviews and that he is probably only selling the place so that he has more money to count. At least that's what I've heard.

You wait and see, he'll be back in Siberia in no time at all.

Yes, sarcasm

Bieber fever 11-21-2011 10:18 PM

Westmount or go home.....

please Markov come to Westmount !
