GO PREDS!

GwtGlads2013 11-22-2011 09:35 AM

Nice job on the GDT. This one isn't broadcast in Atlanta so I hope the boys play well.

mmcdonald11987 11-22-2011 09:40 AM

I will be there cheering loudly from section 329! :handclap:

ThirdManIn 11-22-2011 09:42 AM

Good job on the GDT! May your GDT streak be long and burdensome.

I may have to hijack Erin's computer tonight to stream this one since I told her I would stay at her place. I'll just bring her a bottle of wine so that she's nice and happy and won't mind. ;)

I haven't watched the Oilers since the last time we played them, but I noticed their L10 record is 4-6-0. Does anyone know if the Bulin wall has been showing cracks? Or perhaps maybe their defense was playing over their heads for the first half of the season. Is this all another example of the ups and downs basically every team has over the course of a long season, or is it the youth and inexperience throughout their line up catching up to them?

Tight checking. Get the puck in behind their defense. Get aggressive on the forecheck. Crash the net looking for rebounds. Stay out of the box. You know... the usual

Just. Freakin. Win.

Between OT/SO and the Pinnacle garage I'm not getting home til really late! But I'll take anything as long as the final result = a Preds win.

AtlantaWhaler 11-22-2011 10:06 AM

The team heads to Minnesota to play the Wild tomorrow, so I'd expect to see Lindback wither tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully we play the way we do when we're losing all night...even when we're winning! Let's keep those points rolling in!!

Go Preds!!!

There used to be a blog that listed all of the starting goalies each day, it was really useful for Fantasy Hockey.

Anyone remember the url?

Good find. Rinne it is.

I don't have a great feeling about this. Edmonton seems to have our number in the last couple of seasons.

Yeah no kidding. But Khabibulin has regressed back to be crappy so hopefully we can put pucks on net. I must admit that I am kind of excited to see RNH play though. I just hope he doesn't score.

Well.....I know they beat Chicago 9-2 Saturday then pulled a clunker last night to Dallas. I think the Oilers are one of the most random teams in the league to me. Not out of disrespect at all, just out of geographical reasons. I never think about stuff way up there haha.

Dubnyk is in tonight, from what Dan Tencer says.

What is everyone's opinion on Legwand's spot in the lineup?

Why not Legwand with Halischuk and Spaling and keep Smith with Horny and Wilson where they seem to bring great explosiveness. Looked like the offense spurtered a bit with Leggy playing with Horny and Wilson.

It may drop off just a little bit. But the staff doesn't want to burn out Smith in the first half of the season, he will likely be feeling it harder than the other guys in March-April, so he's going to be somewhat protected/limited as much as can be afforded. At least during this first half.

That's what I'd like to see, honestly. Wilson and Hornqvist went back to looking completely uneffective when Smith was taken off that line last game...and when reunited in the third....boom...generating scoring chances and the only line getting a consistent forecheck going. Legwand, Hali and Spaling makes an excellent shutdown line with some hidden scoring ability.

Last home game for a while as the team goes on a western road trip. I hope they give the home crowd something to cheer about.

Wild
RedWings
Oilers
Flames
Canucks

With the exception of perhaps Calgary, none of those teams are chump-meat. Looking forward to the Canucks game as I'm sure the rest of you are aswell.

I would happily take a point per game over the next five

Shouldn't this be the title for a GDT at the Panthers?

Top 6 Spaling 11-22-2011 05:35 PM

No TV tonight?

Nope.
Back to the interwebs!

Center Ice does wonders. No HD feed tonight though.

Everlong 11-22-2011 06:15 PM

Radio tonight I guess then. I'm over the bandwidth limit for this month so they cut my connection speed down which doesn't allow me to stream video. Booo. Is it 102.5 that usually has the game?

102.5 will have the stream from their page or the TuneInRadio app

Drake744 11-22-2011 06:55 PM

Sometimes if you have Center Ice or GameCenter it's interesting to watch the away feed anyway just to hear another team's take on our team.
