Skate Question

Hello,

this may have been asked before, but I couldn't seem to find anything on the search function, so I apologize if it has been asked:

I came across these skates at Canadian Tire that are on sale right now.

Bauer Vapour Flite.

There is no info on these skates anywhere on Bauer's website.
A little googling, and i can't seem to find much info, except that they often sell these skates in other countries.

Anyway, my question is, would these skates be anywhere comparable to the Bauer Vapour 3.0 or 2.0?

It looks like it might be somewhere in between.

I'm in the market for new skates, and I don't want to pay any more than $200. (I just play beer league).

I probably mostly care about the blades, something that will stay reasonably sharp.
I'm a very fast skater, I like my skates sharp as I like to bite into the ice and get quick acceleration. I'm not so concerned with gliding.

I have a high arch so it seems anything from ccm/graph are out of the question. i've never been able to wear any other skate but Bauer.
I've heard missions are also good for high arches.

Any help would be much obliged.

thank you,

Assuming that Vapor is the right fit for you, then the Flite's $300 pricepoint and features would put it at an equivalence to the Vapor X:30 and 4.0 skates. They are a Canadian Tire SMU and made specially for them only.

The LS2 holder and runner are top quality steel, they shouldn't be a problem; I'd be more concerned about taking good care of them and having a competent sharpener.

No problem :) They're an amazing deal at that price. Goodluck
