Goalie Stick

I am fairly new to goalie...
played with friends and a season in outdoor.
I just recently upgraded some of my gear to fit me better and am looking to buy a secondary stick incase mine breaks.

I am 6'1 off skates and idea on how many inches the stick should be...(ordering online) I can't seem to find a sizing chart

Unfortunately there really isn't a right or wrong answer to your question because it's a matter of feel. To complicate the issue every stick manufactuer measures their sticks slighly different, so a 26" paddle on a Sherwood would be slighly different than a 26" paddle on a Reebok.

That said your best bet is to go to your local hockey shop and see what stick feels best to you.

Odds are you are a 26 or higher...

However I am about 5'4" and use a 27/27.5 depending on the manufacturer. Due to my smaller size, I try to stand up as much as possible.

On the flip side, there are goalies taller than you that use a 25 or 24 inch paddle.

I'm 5'9, and I use a 27 inch paddle Reebok 6K, but yeah, the sizes vary from every manufacturer

I'm 5'7 and I use a 26" paddle
I used to use the biggest I could find then i went into an actual goalie store here and Hamilton and he said a paddle thats right my height which he said was 26" that when I go into a butterfly my arm would sit correctly and stick more flat on the ice.
