NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

It’s important to have your top guys play strong in big games and Gabby and Richards were really good out there.
We’re building confidence right now and we’re winning in different ways.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Obviously we have to take care of home ice, especially in division games it's huge. We have been confident at home.
And for me it's new, it's great to be in front of these fans, and it's great to be picking up these wins, for sure.
I talked about it all summer, it's fun to be in a hockey environment, no disrespect to the other places I played at, this is a little different. It's Original Six with bitter rivalries.
- Brad Richards

I think the past two or three games has been as close to our identity as we’ve gotten this year. The big part of our identity is our physical play.
Our faceoffs, Brad Richards from Day 1 has been really good. Last night, we didn’t lose too many.
Those things help, the small details of the game. Now we’ve won three straight, you’ve got to continue to work at the details.
I don’t think our game is dead on, we’ve found ways to win but you’ve got to continue to work on your game.
- John Tortorella

Let's win again

Ih8theislanders 11-30-2011 09:52 PM

Is Mcbain hurt?

IBleedNYRBlue 11-30-2011 09:56 PM

I think you forgot to put Bobby Ryan on the 1st line man. :sarcasm:

NyRangers88 11-30-2011 09:56 PM

Lets Go Rangers!!!

4 in a row!

beastly115 11-30-2011 09:57 PM

Someone put Staal into the 3rd row this time, please.

lGR!

BringBackLibertys 11-30-2011 09:59 PM

One of my few "home" games. I will be there in section 120, wearing my Ranger blue. LGR!

The Lunatic Fridge 11-30-2011 10:00 PM

I'm guessing biron will be in net.

LGR

darko 11-30-2011 10:07 PM

Make it four in a row.

LGR

Clowes Line 11-30-2011 10:19 PM

Let's do it!

Zuccarello Awesome* 11-30-2011 10:43 PM

After living in Massapequa, NY my entire life, i moved to chapel hill, NC about 9 months ago. My dad is coming down tomorrow and were taking over the RBC center in rangers gear. LGR!!!

alves 11-30-2011 10:44 PM

can't wait to see bobby ryan score from the side. losing deveaux and EC will hurt our future, but we're a better hockey team THIS year. LGR.

Nice! I'll be there too. I think I'm in one of the 100's. Gotta look at the tickets but my girlfriends sleeping right now. I'll come say hi :)

Kane One 11-30-2011 11:08 PM

I'm hoping Biron could start this one.

No, I think he'll play instead of Joslin or Kaberle tomorrow. If Harrison is ready to go, Joslin and Kaberle will likely both come out with McBain coming in as well.

Machinehead 11-30-2011 11:11 PM

The only Bobby's we need to win this one are Bobby Richards, Bobby Gaborik, and Bobby Biron.

FutureGM97 11-30-2011 11:12 PM

Trap game. Gotta be careful. Always have a tough time in Carolina

Net Front Presence 11-30-2011 11:12 PM

No excuse for not coming up with 2 points in this one.

useref15 11-30-2011 11:13 PM

Lets go for four in a row! I expect to see Biron in net tomorrow.

jacko23 11-30-2011 11:14 PM

LGR!!! so many things to say about this game, but ill keep it to myself.....

Alvvays 11-30-2011 11:17 PM

Typical loss.

5-1 Canes. Staal with 3 goals 1 assists. Richards and Callahan -4.

Fitzy 11-30-2011 11:21 PM

I think the most aggravating thing has been that recently, the Rangers have seemingly done nothing but win. And we still have exactly 0 separation from the rest of the conference.

Have to keep winning games and collecting points. Start a bad stretch now and before you know it we're out of the playoffs.

Way to be optimistic. :sarcasm:

EEDAWGZ 11-30-2011 11:52 PM

 Cam Ward , the big time Yankee fan, as Sam always says, always likes to turn his game up against the Rangers.

New York RKY 12-01-2011 12:02 AM

Gotta come out strong here and play the same way we've been playing against some of the elite teams in the East. This is one of those games the old Rangers, after beating quality teams, feel victim to playing down to their opponent.

4-1 Rangers

Richards, Callahan, Ryan (x2), Staal
