Drinking games to make it bearable

The only way I can watch the Bolts now is to have an incentive. These are examples, suggestions welcome as 50+ games to go.
  • Every time the Chief says "I'll tell you what"
  • When we score (whan I have work to do later)
  • When the opposition scores (weekend games only)
  • When Kubina does something stupid (weekend games only)
  • When a player or coach says "structure" (only for those who want to pass out)

Maybe a game for each GDT.

Every time a Lightning player slips and falls with no one near them, take a drink.

Felonious Python 12-07-2011 06:00 PM

Lightning on an unjust penalty kill.

Every turnover on the PP

Every offside on an odd man rush.

Actually, better not do that one... your liver won't be able to take the damage.

Even if we just get one in the first period, you'd be so plastered by the end of the PP that you couldn't continue the drinking game without risking a trip to the ER to get your stomach pumped.

Yeah, that's a quick way to find oneself ingesting carbon and meeting your friendly neighborhood stomach pump.

When Roloson goes out to handle the puck

When Downie gets a penalty for being Downie

bassassin 12-07-2011 08:07 PM

Everytime Kubina gets beaten with speed down a bottle of wine.

Drouin2Stamkos 12-07-2011 08:10 PM

Whenever you yell at a ref for a call.

CommunistDayKare 12-07-2011 08:34 PM

I've retired from sports drinking games after doing the SEC Championship one

when ever they take the lead, two shots of Absinthe.. God knows you don't want to remember the rest of the game when they start blowing it.

Chief: "I'll tell you what"
Chief: "That's the key" / "The key of it is"
Chief: "Tremendous"
Chief: "Tsk" / "Ssshhh"
Chief draws a circle too late on the telestrator

You'll be drunk after the first period.

VanTampaFan 12-08-2011 01:10 AM

There should be a shot for every time a Tampa Bay General Hospital or Steak and Shake ad comes on too. You'd get drunk QUICK.

I've seen those ads some many effing times over the past couple years. Someone please satisfy my curiosity and tell me if Steak and Shake is any good? We dont have that **** up here in Canada

I actually do take a drink whenever Roli goes out to handle the puck. It's not part of a drinking game... just a natural reaction.

Felonious Python 12-08-2011 05:04 AM

For Versus broadcasts, anytime something unnecessarily negative is said about the Lightning. You will be introduced to the floorth period.

Take a drink anytime during a game you just spontaneously yell out in anger, "make the trade!".

Their fries are horrible even at 4am.

Taco Bus is my drunk food. Used to be White Castle though.

Instead of you know drinking this season away...You should get back into shape...

Everytime we let in a goal...Because you will be so angry turn that negative energy into a positive by doing 10 pushups...

If we lose at least we'll look sexy doing it... :naughty:

Cheaper too. I can't afford the booze to be drinking with all these rules.
