NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

We’re going to miss Sauer a lot. In the game tomorrow, I’m going to get an opportunity play some more minutes. I’m not going to do anything differently.
I know Del Zotto is active and likes to jump up in the rush. I’m really comfortable with him. I know his game pretty well.
- Steve Eminger

Obviously, everybody wants to play but that’s part of the game, it’s just the way it is. The team was winning so I understand why they didn’t change anything.
- Anton Stralman

No, we’ve played some pretty fast teams and we’ve won some hockey games. We’ve struggled against Toronto in that aspect. I thought we gathered oursleves and found a way to get back into it.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is a work in progress.

I can't watch...

Pretty odd, too. Have a concert. last time I had a concert, the Rangers beat the Lightning at MSG 8-2 and I missed it.

They better not win 8-2 this time dammit.

beastly115 12-07-2011 09:21 PM

I have a bad feeling about this one...

IBleedNYRBlue 12-07-2011 09:27 PM

I'll be there.

LGR!

Screw You Rick Nash 12-07-2011 09:27 PM

LGR! We better win.

Chimp 12-07-2011 09:43 PM

Our defense is starting to look like vomit. Not cool.

Puckface NYR* 12-07-2011 09:47 PM

lightning suck this year...woop them.

although with our d right now god knows that offense could unload on us

That's fine, it'll be a 9-2 OTW. :sarcasm:

LGR!

Net Front Presence 12-07-2011 10:05 PM

4-2 win. Lundqvist stands on his head in the third and they add an EN goal.

FutureGM97 12-07-2011 10:08 PM

Bounce back boys...get it done.

Megustaelhockey 12-07-2011 10:41 PM

Man, Tampa is awful. I don't understand what is going on there... They seem very talented.

SnowblindNYR 12-07-2011 10:50 PM

Nice thread but the Rangers are 8-4-2 on the road.

Garfinkel1 12-07-2011 10:53 PM

4th line chips in with an ES Goal.

Rangers win 4-2.

Fitzy 12-07-2011 10:58 PM

That 3rd pairing is going to hurt us in this game.

-My bold prediction.

redfzn 12-07-2011 11:33 PM

Gilly is on their 1st D pairing? lol

I thought our D looked bad...

NYRFAN218 12-08-2011 12:29 AM

I wonder if EC gets a shot. It was said that he was an extra on the Avery - Dubi - Prust line at practice this morning so maybe Torts puts him in. Avery hasn't exactly been his favorite the past couple of games so I guess it's a possibility.

mrjimmyg89 12-08-2011 12:46 AM

Just so ppl know:

In the Philly and Pittsburgh markets, NHL Network will be showing this game.

LGR!

darko 12-08-2011 01:09 AM

Lgr.

DoTheBlue 12-08-2011 01:21 AM

Last game against the Bolts was boring.
The defense is looking a bit thin but I think they should still be able to contain the struggling Bolts with some help from Hank.

FromTheSide 12-08-2011 01:42 AM

It boggles my mind that this bum boyle is still on the 3rd line and not on a bus on his way to hartford.

Tanner Glass 12-08-2011 02:02 AM

I'm home in Austria, so I'm gonna have to wake up in the middle of the night to watch. It better be worth it!

Callagraves 12-08-2011 02:28 AM

Hank will have to put on a clinic for us to make it out of this one with points. The good news is Roloson seems to have used up all of his gas in the playoffs last year.

Still, Eminger on the second pairing? I'm not eager to see that.

Ail 12-08-2011 05:20 AM

New win streak start please.

trueblue9441 12-08-2011 05:43 AM

Get back in the win column tonight.

Fughedabootit

SupersonicMonkey* 12-08-2011 06:30 AM
