With Florida's signing of Bill Thomas today (Per Renaud Lavoie), I figured there would be enough Minor Signings from here to the end of the season to necessitate getting this thread going again. It appears the Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Pierre-Cedric Labrie to an NHL deal as they have put him on waivers today.

He has not been around the NHL too much until a few games last year. He is an enforcer that can handle the puck and drive hard to the net though.

He's a fourth line tough guy/grinder but he seems like he might have the skill set to be more.

If the Blues were to trade him, they'd be hard pressed to get more than a 4th round pick.

Cant imagine they would trade him though, functioning tough guys are at a premium. I would take him on the habs any day.

Reaves hits a lot. He fights. He's a good 4th liner with a little untapped offensive potential. Maybe in the 20 point range. I know that's not overly impressive but he's a 4th liner most likely never anything more.

Oh I love the guy. I'm thrilled we re-signed him. I was just trying to give people an idea what his value might be.

I could see someone like Crombeen, Porter or Nichol being moved now but they really don't hold much value.

I would love to have Crombeen on the 4th line.

According to Renaud Lavoie, Tom Pyatt has signed a two-year extension with Tampa Bay.

Nice price for Pyatt. Good 4th liner and PKer. Gives it his all every night.

Reaves is a big kid. Not much offensive upside but he'll hit and fight. He might make Crombeen expendable.

Posted as a rumor as I couldn't find another confirmed source, but it says he was extended for 2 years. Good for Edmonton if true

I kinda doubt it's true. I can't remember the last time something true came out of there.

Dude has already sustained an injury and he's play has been streaky.
