The injuries need to stop. Players like Upshall, Goc, and Bergenheim need to come back. Upshall and Goc have been out for far to long.

I am nervous about this game.

Thanks buddy!

Welcome to this board, you actually contribute with things unlike people like me!

Frek 12-22-2011 10:08 AM

Hope our two AHL lines use the opportunity to impress for future consideration. Even though we are missing 6 forwards for tonight's game I think we can still win against the sens.

The injuries need to stop now, this is getting ridiculous. Seriously, we have 2 full lines of "call-ups".

GO PANTHERS! and RAMPAGE!

gizmo12688 12-22-2011 10:09 AM

Please.....no one else get injured.........please.

AwesomePanthers 12-22-2011 10:13 AM

Time to revenge Folignos buzz-beater from last time! And bounce back from that unbelievable game vs. Pheonix.

Go Cats!

floridashawn 12-22-2011 10:31 AM

The Cats are in trouble right now with 2 AHL lines. We may have a chance in Ottawa but they are playing well. Lets hope we don't suffer any more injuries.

Boston is another story. This lineup vs Boston? Yikes.

I will be happy goin 0-1-1 on this mini roadie.

Blad Meaning Gud 12-22-2011 10:37 AM

Really need the top line to step it up

If it makes you feel any better about you're injuries, michalek, our first line winger and league leader in goals at the time of the injury is out, as well as regin, our second line center, and winchester our 4th line center.

Not as bad as you guys but having 2 top 6 forwards out, it's not like your depleted lineup is facing a fully healthy lineup. We've got some holes as well and it will be interesting to see both teams's young gun call ups.

Here's to a good game fellas! Cheers!

GO SENS GO!

Bradley on the second line? Ehhh........

And lol Santorelli centering the 4th line. He is really in the doghouse, isn't he?

Honestly I don't understand Dineen's man crush on Kennedy. The kid is the definition of a scrub. He can skate decently but turns the puck over CONSTANTLY in the offensive zone and is terrible along the boards. He also can't hit the net and whiffs on pucks all the time in the slot.

I get that Santo hasn't been the best this season, but for him to be centering the 4th line when the team is STARVING (and I mean STARVING) for any kind of scoring is pretty stupid IMO. At least he can score from a shot here and there.

I seriously don't get it though, Kennedy has done nothing this season to warrant any ice-time this season. 1 goal and a -8 in 21 games? I'd much rather have Cullen out there.

Shockley 12-22-2011 11:59 AM

Have to work once again tonight :( i will be watching in spirit and checking phone constantly! GO PANTHERS!

I was just thinking these exact same things after seeing the lineup!

That second line looks like something old Panthers management would put together and sell to us as a quality second line. Dads and Repik need to step it up tonight they both think they belong on the big team they need to show it. Still would feel better with Santo and Kennedy switching places that 4th line is a hot mess. Think I'll neeed to drink heavily tonight to enjoy this game.

FlaPnthrsPunk 12-22-2011 12:29 PM

With the lineup in this game, I'm a bit nervous about this one as well. I'm not really sure what to expect. At least it'll give guys like Dadonov, Repik, and Kennedy another chance to hopefully raise some eyebrows. These injuries have to stop though. At least our top line is healthy for now.

Sometimes I wonder if you watch the games. Kennedy is what he is, and he is NHL caliber, Santorelli should be doing a lot (and I mean A LOT) more than he should be. He can score, but he hasn't been. You want out, get yourself out. Really don't get your hate on for Kennedy.

And we're not starving for scoring, not in that realm. 3rd place in the Conference team is STARVING? no.

We've scored 3 goals one in our last 7 games, and that was against one of the worst teams in the league. We are starved for offense, how can you disagree? Averaging two goals a game is not going win you too many games.

Kennedy is barely NHL caliber, why do you think NO ONE picks him up off waivers? 0 offensive skill. My point is we need scoring, and I do watch every game and although Santo isn't scoring, him and Kennedy are basically playing identical styles at this point. At least I know that Santo has more offensive upside. Kennedy can't hit the broad side of a barn.

Good god the bottom three lines make last season's post trade deadline look like all stars. What scrubs in the lineup. Were going to need the puck to bounce our way tonight thats for sure.

Manny* 12-22-2011 12:57 PM

Good luck tonight guys. I'm starting to warm up to the idea that we'll soon be divisional rivals.

It sucks that the Panthers aren't healthy, but if the Sens learned anything from last season, it's that young AHLers can have quite an impact when called upon.

Here's to a fun and safe game.

LUUUUUIS 12-22-2011 01:57 PM

Wow, we'll see after the game, but so far the Sens fans have been top notch! To a fun and safe game!
