Do you think fans of the Montreal Expos will ever forgive you for 1994?

I donít know. I certainly hope so. And Iím one of those people, I donít know how many other ones there are, that still considers it is a shame that it didnít work in Montreal and believes there will be another baseball team there, sooner or later. I used to love going up there. I was there sitting with Omar Minaya, who was the general manager, at the opening day of the last season that they played. I hope so. It was one hell of a team that they had in í94, I can tell you that.

one can only dream....................

It saddens me knowing that I'll never be able to just get in the car and go to a game with my son on a beautiful mid summer's night

phoque taupe 12-28-2011 07:09 PM

McSorleyStick 12-28-2011 07:11 PM

NBA team?

No?

Ok then :-(

Oh yeah, and we almost got an NFL team .... was it in the 60's or 70's ?

Never gonna work except for a few anglos no one cares about baseball any more in Montreal

Since they left, nothing was done, no minor ballpark, junior baseball is struggling

Frozenice 12-28-2011 07:21 PM

Where would they build a new park and yes, I would like to see them return.

Further from the truth.

I'd be more pleased if the Alouettes joined the NFL.

Any room he walks into that has Bud Selig in it is a room where he's not even close to the biggest dirtbag.

it would probably be built where the old blue bonnets / hippodrome was off the decarie expressway near Jean Talon - or somewhere around the end of Peel Street near Notre Dame close to the water where lotto Quebec and the cirque du soleil almost opened that casino a couple of years back

I'm not a big fan of baseball and often trolled these type of threads. But to be honest, if they could do something with the Big O(because there's no way we leave that there), imagine how sick it would be during summer, Programme double Impact-Expos.

If the expos wanna be successful they aren't gonna be in big O anymore. That place is a waste of space.

How hard could a removable roof be if they were able to make the whole team removable?

Every friday a mlb player would come talk to us we had pedro, larry walker, bill lee, Alot more i have balls signed they would sign autoraphs and you could ask questions... I miss the expos and baseball here played for almost 20 years i still go watch my brother play.. Good times!!!

Nordiques will be back before baseball. Montreal is a ''one trick poney'' in sport, the Canadiens...
