Didn't look that bad when I saw the highlghts. Could be a minor shoulder separation or something more serious.

NugentHopkinsfan 01-02-2012 11:23 PM

This is so awful, I am so upset. As we all know shoulder injuries are tough and often come back. With his slim build I hope this is minor.

Really sad right now :(

JSC 01-02-2012 11:28 PM

Hall's looked much, much more serious, and it kept him out 2 weeks. RNH finishing his shift gives me some hope that it's nothing serious.

oilWILDcountry 01-02-2012 11:43 PM

**** Why Why Why Why Why.

Lol but seriously it would be a huge blow if he is gone for any significant amount of time :(

Hockey Nightmare 01-02-2012 11:45 PM

It's damn ******, but look on the bright side, it's not like we're making the playoffs anyway. Right now, I just hope it's not too bad for his own health.

McArthur 01-02-2012 11:47 PM

don't rule out collar bone

The Last Dynasty 01-02-2012 11:51 PM

hopefully its just as bad as Halls shoulder injury

meaning he'll miss a couple weeks

it's be nice for him to win the Calder!

That's what I was gonna say. It's one of the most common injuries as a result of trauma.

awesomo 01-02-2012 11:52 PM

hopefully its not long, will give him some rest if so

hall sure benefited from it

bellagiobob 01-03-2012 12:08 AM

Didn't look like much of a spill. Would be shocked if it was anything long term. Hopefully he didn't do shoulder damage with that minimal impact.

Hall came back and played more shifts so that doesn't say much.

Bank Shot 01-03-2012 12:21 AM

Man I hope he comes back soon. The Calder is the only thing left to look forward to for this season.

No, kidding, was really minimal. Got to think it was just a precaution.

ya, i was hoping calder cup and calder trophy

Moonlapse Vertigo 01-03-2012 12:49 AM

What an absurd injury. Par for the course in Oilerville.

If he misses more than two weeks then Adam Henrique becomes a lock for the Calder.

Klaus* 01-03-2012 01:20 AM

Yep, this team is cursed. Not that that wasn't already known.

Is the season over yet?

Hairball 01-03-2012 01:24 AM

He doesn't have 42 points yet though.

Vdhawan89 01-03-2012 01:26 AM

Why? 7 points is a pretty big gap.

TheBusDriver 01-03-2012 01:36 AM

Losing RNH hurts. Losing Gilbert hurts more, hes our MVP this year.

On the bright side, it gives Gagner and Horcoff more opportunities on the pp.
