I've placed dollars on the Finns, should be an exciting game.

Arktos 01-03-2012 03:07 PM

Good to see canadian officials which will propably allow more physical game. Sweden will crush Finland but i hope we see a good game nonetheless.

Good luck Finnish lions :handclap:

I've placed dollars on the Finns too, so should be an easy win for Swedes.

BLBarmada 01-03-2012 03:10 PM

This is going to be a great game !!!

RorschachWJK 01-03-2012 03:10 PM

Here's hoping for a good game!

I hope we can fix the weak spots in our game and win this one but recent history against Sweden in this age group is not encouraging.

Entrancemperium 01-03-2012 03:11 PM

Any live stream?

SurMartin 01-03-2012 03:11 PM

Stanleyjub 01-03-2012 03:14 PM

Either a blowout win for Swedes or tight OT. win for Sweden.

e. Don't know which one would be more painful, probably the OT. loss :(

ToBBa 01-03-2012 03:14 PM

Good luck for both. I hope we will see a good game from both teams.

The Boyle Sisters 01-03-2012 03:16 PM

if finland doesn't **** the bed early, we'll be fighting. so pumped for this one!

ElHefe 01-03-2012 03:21 PM

Any drinkin game ideas?

Zamuz 01-03-2012 03:22 PM

3-2 Finland

Nordic* 01-03-2012 03:22 PM

Lol. Fans of both respective teams says that their own team will lose, haha...

If someone can give me a working link for the game I will name my first born after you.

NotProkofievian 01-03-2012 03:25 PM

**** sweden. I love your hergy flergy talk, and plan to learn it someday; but go Suomi!

As an aside, why is it that Finns are called Fins in every other language but their own? Why don't we call them Suomi?

If you're Swedish and things are going against us, have a drink every time Renberg says:
"X måste passa där"
"X får inte tappa puck där"
"Vi kan inte släppa in ett mål där"
...or any other obvious statement and you'll be out before the second period.

or wait, no Renberg this game? Hallelujah!

Expect the best, plan for the worst, and prepare to be surprised.

Maybe this:

Every time when in PP Mi. Granlund gives a 1-meter pass to Pulkkinen and Pulu shoots onetimer wide or over the goal, drink.

Comes from the Swedish name for Suomi, Finland; Fineland or Prettyland or something in English. ;) Finland isn't the only country suffering this horrible fate of having everyone call you with a foreign name, Japan is called Nippon in their own language.
