That said, the Caps always get up for the Pens. 5-2 good guys. |
Allright, spent a lot of $ on the tickets for this one, win you ****ers!

Just finished reading the Capitals speculation thread as well as the Trade Proposals on the main boards.
Capitals win 3-1 Capitals goals scorers: - Ryan Getzlaf - Rene Bourque - Tomas Kundratek :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm: |
Did anything come out of that practice sighting of Neal yesterday, amid claims that he's not as badly injured as originally thought?
EDIT: Seems he's playing, as he played 16:41 last night. |

a combined 7 game streak. crosby and backstrom out, letang and green out. the national value of caps v pens is gone. on to newer and better things.
|
Will you stop posting **** that you make up as of its ****ing news. There is no update on Backstrom starting tonight. He remains day to day until the team clarifies his status.
|
No Backstrom at practice according to Whyno.
|
nothing official on green either. its just common sense, bud. this team doesnt clarify these things. whyno's tweets say green absent "as expected" and then backstrom absent "not a surprise". if you disagree, its ok with me. just say so. the rest isnt necessary.
|
JUST ****ING WIN!!!
Please |
Stephen Whyno
#Caps lines: Ovechkin-Johansson-Semin, Knuble-Laich-Brouwer, Chimera-Halpern-Ward, Hendricks-Perreault-Beagle. Orlov and Kundratek paired. Tarik El-Bashir Potential #Caps D pairings: 27-74; 44-6; 81-36 (Kundratek). Nos. 4 and 55 are out there, too. |
Looks like Schultz and Erskine to be scratched.

Schultz....man. Hilarious.
+50! |
I'm surprised Erskine doesn't seem to be getting any favors from Dale and JJ.
They seem to really like puck moving defensemen with an offensive edge. |

I think Erskine is still struggling with the shoulder, so him getting a scratch isnt that big a deal to me. Plus he's a 6th or 7th d man anyways.
Schultz...at $2.75...should be playing...but isn't. Big giant soft piece of garbage. Come on Chicago. You know you want to. |

Nicklas Backstrom placed on IR retroactive to last Tuesday Stephen Whyno Backstrom on IR retroactively means he could be activated at any time. IR is 7 day minimum. Gives roster space for Kundratek |
You can take +50 and that 3 million to the bank!
|
Backstrom to IR retroactive to 1/4, now there's a surprise :sarcasm:
Orlov Kundratek pairing .... on paper that's scary seeing the two paired together. Of note, Orlov and Kundratek only played in the same Hershey game once this season on 11/13 vs Bridgeport. I was thinking maybe they'd pair Kundratek with Hamrlik for the vet/rookie pairing plus the Czech aspect. Kundratek is Czech so should help in terms of goalie/dman communications, one would hope. |
