NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

I’m trying to score. I have to if I want to keep playing, especially now.
I have no doubt in my ability that I can score. There’s a lot of hockey to be played.
- Brian Boyle

I just made up my mind to go fast and try to disrupt his positioning by stopping and taking a quick shot. It worked out perfect.
- Marian Gaborik

I thought we defended well and we developed some scoring chances. Lundqvist played really well for us in the shootout. We didn’t give up much, we made one mistake and it ended up in our net.
It was one of those games you just had to stick with it.
- John Tortorella

Fix for Six! LGR!

DMPD 01-11-2012 09:02 PM

Keep Winning Win Until You Win The Game Winwinwinwin

NyRangers88 01-11-2012 09:02 PM

LGR!!

Keep on racking up those points!!

Net Front Presence 01-11-2012 09:05 PM

No excuses. Make it 6.

silverfish 01-11-2012 09:05 PM

I'll be in the air from JFK back to Buffalo while the game's going on. Usually however, the Rangers win when I'm flying.

Hope the trend continues, LGR

Kane One 01-11-2012 09:09 PM

LGR! We now have a bunch of games close together.

mrhockey193195 01-11-2012 09:12 PM

LGR! Something tells me this one will be really tough. Won't be surprised by an OTT win, but I have full faith in the boys.

KingWantsCup 01-11-2012 09:16 PM

Just keep winning winning winning. ;) Ottawa will be a good challenge. After what they did to us last time, losing again would be unacceptable.

WeWillWinTonight 01-11-2012 09:17 PM

Not an easy one but let's get another

NYRSchrute217 01-11-2012 09:19 PM

We're just starting a tough stretch. Points will be hard to come by, let's try to get another 2 against the Sens before the Canadian trip. Make it 6

IBleedNYRBlue 01-11-2012 09:19 PM

Hank definitely in? So I guess Marty then Sat. and Hank gets the nod in Montreal?

Nostaalgic 01-11-2012 09:54 PM

Keep it going we need as many points as we can before this Canada trip. Still thinking Pruster gets one

skitts 01-11-2012 10:06 PM

yess, I will be at this game! So excited!

Fitzy 01-11-2012 10:11 PM

The Sens are 7-2-1 in their last 10. This is a hot hockey club, and the Rangers will have to come prepared.

McMonster 01-11-2012 10:14 PM

Gonna be another tough one... feeling a goal from Prustah

Yikes, didn't realize they were that hot.

Fitzy 01-11-2012 10:20 PM

Pardon me, they are 7-1-2.

I hope nobody goes looking for revenge on the Wolski hit.

Gardner McKay 01-11-2012 10:24 PM

This Ottawa team is easy to score goals on. However they can also score goals. Staying out of the box and playing solid defense will win us this game no doubt. If the Rangers lack discipline then we will lose this one badly. That simple.

Anderson is hot (6-0-1, 1.87, .940 in last 7 GPI).

Before this hot streak you would be correct though.

Hoping for a good game but I expect you guys to win a close one.

The Lunatic Fridge 01-11-2012 10:46 PM

More of what they did against PHX...Except the puck actually goes in the net this time.

McDonagh 01-11-2012 10:48 PM

Love coming home from my longest day of classes to a Rangers game. 2 more points! Let's get Gaborik back on the score sheet. I don't usually throw out predictions but I'm going with a blowout. 6-2.

Megustaelhockey 01-11-2012 11:08 PM

Ottawa's a great character town - really good food when I visited and some of the nicest fans you'll encounter anywhere.

But this is the Garden, and "nice" is not in our vocabulary. :handclap:

Make it six, okay?

dennilfloss 01-11-2012 11:25 PM

Looking forward to this rematch with your team. Here's hoping for an entertaining game and no injuries on either side. :)

charlie460 01-11-2012 11:34 PM

Edit: disregard
