One of the biggest game of the year so far, aside from the Winter Classic.

Was going to make the drive up to Boston tomorrow, but ticket prices were almost expensive as what I paid for the classic haha.

I'm not scared, mainly 'cos I don't think it's a game the Rangers will win. Hopefully they play a full 60 minute game, and get back to all those team oriented things they were doing so well with earlier. Also, I have to wake up at 4am, so they's better bring their A game

The schedule is set prior to the season. The Rangers are kind of a surprise team.

They simply didn't know these two teams would be the best in the conference.
Otherwise, it's just another O6 match up.

NBC as in the main network or NBCSports (formerly Versus)? The main network doesn't carry games until after the ASG/early Feb. every season if I remember correctly.

That 2nd line is gross . Sadly , the end of January is nearing and the dogs
days of February are upon us . Not a must win by any means ..... More like a reality check... Welcome back to earth .6-1 drubbing a possibility complete with 5-3 s against , from the parade to the penalty box trying to contain their power and speed and balanced attack . We can not be a one line team tmrw . Total gut check . But .... Henke tends to shine in beantown and who knows maybe stone hands Boyle and his rubber stick will some how pot one and maybe Gaby will break out if his slump as well . Brad Richards sore neck and Johnny Malkin and his right wing...... Well he win his cup / Conn Smythe and is here on the long grey line of washed up fat cats collecting there NYR Dolans pension fund .

That can't be true because the classic was on NBC and a few weeks ago Detroit/Chicago was also on NBC.

this game is more important than Winter Classic. it is a bog statement game. We need to be a bit lucky and beat them. And Lundqvist needs to be back in shape. LGR!!!

I think that Rangers have better chance to win when they are the underdog. They won in Philadelphia, Pittsbugh, and that was because they did not need to push, but to defend and score from 2-1 situations. This is same scenario game. Man, I can't wait. First snow tomorrow and first win over Bruins would just add strawberry on top.

These teams are even. I still don't buy that Boston is elite.

I still have no idea why Wolski isn't getting a chance when this team is struggling... Why is Callahan on the 3rd line? Even though Tortorella will rotate the lines around, that brings confidence down... no?

Hopefully we get a point out of this one. Two would be heaven.

Wolski was pretty shaky when Torts put him in, at least in two of his games.

I understand he was shaky. What do you expect after having a groin injury for a while. I would put Wolski on that line instead of Mitchell (Yes I know Wolski is a LW). Anyway, LGR. Hopefully Torts gives them some juice before the game.

both Staal and Wolski (and all other Rangers coming from injury previous year) were shaky
