uphill both ways in the snow.

also merged with the one I was creating. I get the version that has the surviving title because, y'know, mod. Also TF97 missed the "10,000" in the title.

I know, I was supposed to meet with a study group for it but I never got an email from my group leader.

Instead of taking Ancient Greece/Rome History, you take Chinese Art. Silly goose.

Dammit, Bill Watterson! Get back to some real work!!

Just re-watched 'Frisky Dingo' for the 50 millionth time, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that insurance is very important.

Try to talk with the professor or a TA tomorrow. Start talking about stuff from class that you found even vaguely interesting (however little you might know) and they'll usually lead you into a decent topic.

Or you can talk with classmates on Monday, find out their topics, make a subtle change and just steal theirs. Not that I've ever done that. ;)

My next door neighbors are from Massachusetts. I can tell the end of the game from the cheers coming through the wall.

My ex who has broken up with her BF but still living with him (for over a month..) has been crying the whole night that he now finally left today. But wait, there's more. She is already in a sort of a relationship with a new guy.

That's right, meant to post that.
Happy New Years to you too!

It feels weird celebrating New Years without the family... it really does.

If you're interested in art try a figure drawing class with Dave Hollowell. Super cool guy and class in which you draw naked people and give yourself your own grade at the end. Only take it if you are serious about exploring art though, no stick figures. Art History 1a is usually super easy and interesting as are Spyridakis's history classes if he's still teaching them. Miss UCD, might apply to teach there at some point when I'm done with my MFA.

I can't take lower division courses as they do nothing towards my graduating. :) I also can't draw for ****.

My research group never contacted me so I'm going to venture to the library for the first time on my own and find some art for my research paper. No clue where exactly I should be looking IN the library, so I emailed my professor and am hoping to hear a response tomorrow.

Well Spyridakis teaches 111A: The Ancient Near East, 111B: Ancient Greece, 111C: Rome, 102A last I checked. Winder McConnell also teaches some cool odd courses if you need some upper division units. He does one on film/Westerns, some on Medieval German Heroic Epics and what not. Art History courses are either a pain in the butt due to term papers or super easy two midterm one final classes, usually the former for upper division. Roller, Burnett, and Strazdes are relatively easy, Ruda is anal so lots or memory work, and Stimson is for contempo Post-Modern art history stuff. Another easy fun option is technoculture studies, fun weird classes, watch a lot of film.

I had a friend go to perth for a concert in their summer. His only explanation about the trip was: "Oven"

Heh yes that is what our summers are like and they go on for ages as well.

Last summer I went to the Big Day Out which is a whole day festival, I arrived in the afternoon and by that time most of the crowd looked like boiled lobsters. Aussies don't take well to the sun thanks to our recent British ancestry you see
