Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Really hope they can pull out a win on my b-day.

Jere26 02-06-2012 04:44 PM

Phoenix playing tonight, then the trip to Dallas, back-to-back against well rested Stars (which is not necessarily a good thing). Let's win this one tomorrow please.

Hey just wanted to say I was very impressed by the arena and how fan friendly it was. Very nice arena with how its setup. Many of the people were friendly too, i was surpirsed with how many wild fans there were tho. The ice girls are a nice touch too lol, nice scoreboard too.

I enjoyed it so much im going tonigt too. Go Stars for tonight :-P

yeah if I had to guess Phoenix outplays and outworks Dallas tomorrow night despite the short rest.

If Dallas ever started beating Phoenix consistently I think it would be a sign of the apocolypse.

Big game, get those two points, Dallas!

In regulation would be nice. :D

Phoenix won last night against Detroit. They'll be road weary and starting their backup (not like that means much, Labarb seems to own us). The Stars had 2 days of rest after that 3 in 4 nights stretch (again not like THAT means much, they usually suck after taking some days off).

Anyways, another 4 point game. Phoenix is right even with us, but we have 2 games in hand. Must win here. In regulation too. No excuses, their tired, we're rested, and in our own barn.

You'll be happy to know we're 3-4-1 when facing teams that have played the night before. :help::shakehead:help:

Everything in game thread updated.

Last night's win was the first time Phoenix had won consecutive games since late December. Wows.

Must must win this. Heika made it seems like the Yotes were considering playing Smitty again tonight.

Stars99Lobo37 02-07-2012 11:40 AM

Forgot to include this in the Phoenix stats. Coyotes are 0-6-0 in their last 6 road games. Haven't won a road match since December 31st. Is also their first road game since January 18th.

AZcoyotes 02-07-2012 01:21 PM

Damn. You guys go hard on your GDTs.

Jere26 02-07-2012 04:14 PM

After his bad game vs Minnesota Dowell seems to be the odd man out. Expected. Others like Grossman can have multiple bad games but face no 'consequences' in form of sitting a game out. What on earth has Fistric done to our coaching staff? This is really starting to piss me off.

Don't get why they haven't announced the starter for Phoenix by now. Am just going to guess it's Smith if they're being this hush about it. Can't find anything on it.

LatvianTwist 02-07-2012 06:22 PM

Leftwinglock has Smith in, but it isn't confirmed.

CRSeven 02-07-2012 07:23 PM

Go Stars!

Bennrocks 02-07-2012 07:28 PM

Tampa and 'Peg scouts here tonight..

Stars99Lobo37 02-07-2012 07:32 PM

Smith for sure in net for Phoenix.

catters078 02-07-2012 07:33 PM

Jackets up 2-1 on the wild after 2

Skttrbrain89 02-07-2012 07:33 PM

Anyone find a stream for the game?

Stars99Lobo37 02-07-2012 07:35 PM

Hasn't been this empty in while. Small small crowd, comparable to start of season.
