This is much needed IMO. He had an overall bad +/- but he was a King through and through. I'm going to miss his **** eating grin and his smooth skating. Sad to see him go, and I'll be rooting for him on the CBJs.

What a ****ing mistake.

I will miss MF Johnson... I remember being all hyped when we traded for him... But I just never saw him play like the #3 player overall or a #1 defensemen... Thanks Jack for your Kings tattoo will be missed.

Kinda pissed to see him go. Much better player than the board has been giving him credit for and one of the few that actually busted his ass. Oh well, hope he kills it for Cbus.

Good luck, can't be easy. I would be extremely pissed off to be traded away after signing a long deal here. Let's try to keep the negative comments about Jack confined to the trade thread.

Jack would have rather gone to Edmonton or Winnipeg than Columbus, this really sucks to sign long term and at a good value to stay in a place he really enjoyed and to be stabbed in the back and sent to the last place in the league you wanted to go.

Goodluck Jack, it will be weird seeing you play and not be emotionally invested in your team like I was when you played at Yost, for the Kings or for Team USA.

Can't wait to see you shine in Sochi like you did in Vancouver.
