Nash Rumours VIII: Nash-ing out the final details

Get over the ****** thread title and continue.

NYR Sting 02-25-2012 04:57 PM

Lamest thread title yet.

broadwayblue 02-25-2012 04:57 PM

Nashty gritty? lol

The thing that bother me about dealing JT Miller is that from all I've read about him he seems to be the perfect Dubinsky replacement. I'd hate to lose both of them at the same time.

Miller is a very strong, powerful skater and he uses his speed to help him both
offensively and defensively. He’s an extremely hard worker and has the ability to get
to loose pucks as well as separate the puck from the carrier seemingly at will. Miller
has good balance and is strong on the puck when he has it and battles hard when
he doesn’t. He’s good along the boards and gets out of battles with the puck. Miller
handles the puck well and uses his balance and strength to protect the puck until he
makes a play.

Watch Howsand get fired and this was all for not!

Maineice11 02-25-2012 04:58 PM

how'd we go from nash thread 7 to nash thread 9? was that just for me cuz i wanted nash traded before nash thread 8 was started? lol

MrEctions 02-25-2012 04:59 PM

Would thy really take down Nash's signage at the rink? lol, seems so trivial and weird to me.

BlueShirts88 02-25-2012 04:59 PM

Someone doesn't know Roman Numerals :sarcasm:

Vitto79 02-25-2012 04:59 PM

I remember the time when Dubinsky was untouchable around here. We had a discussion at one point who would be the next captain for NYR. Captain Dubi or Captain Cally? Now this guy is as good as gone. Time changes like crazy.

Howson is going to be fired. There's no way he survives what took place in Columbus this year. This Nash fiasco is the icing on the cake.

JeffMangum 02-25-2012 05:00 PM

Thought it was 9 and even got that backwards.

Fixed.

BrooklynRangersFan 02-25-2012 05:00 PM

Okay, that IS just spiteful. You didn't even try. :)

If you wanted a reference to the end of the process, about "Nash-ing out the final details"?

Fitzy 02-25-2012 05:01 PM

Yep, way to be on the ball, Steve.

I think this whole thing needs to end tonight. Monday is a little far away.

Hey, I have to manage BOTH Nash threads, here and on the trade board. Cut me some slack.

NYRKING30 02-25-2012 05:03 PM

oh the agony, does this top the kovy fiasco of a few years ago?

NYR Sting 02-25-2012 05:03 PM

Won't anyone think of James Duthie and the TSN deadline day programming???!!!

Jackpot 02-25-2012 05:03 PM

Not to mention, this probably is taking a toll on the players, they might not admit it, bit it's gotta be a distraction...Just want it over with, this ***** is ruining my weekend and my bp has to be through the roof....

There are no words to describe that.

Maineice11 02-25-2012 05:04 PM

this deal could go down during the game and if it is nash going to the rangers and only one roster player they could be pulled out midway thru the game....just saying

Your doing a great job, Zenith:handclap:

LotsOfHags 02-25-2012 05:05 PM

Am I the only one to think Boyle is going to be gone as well? For some reason, I think he will be included in a deal. (For Rick Nash or someone else).

Sure, but why wouldn't Sather just wait until after the game rather than put his team at a disadvantage by pulling Dubinsky or whoever while it is in progress? I guess it prevents injury from derailing things...but still.

On that note, I was thinking how odd it would be if we traded for Nash during the game against Columbus a few days ago...could he put on a Rangers jersey and start skating the other way? lol
