Dee Oh Cee 02-27-2012 03:08 PM

How funny would it be if we get Rolston for Zanon? :sarcasm:

TaLoN 02-27-2012 03:14 PM

The wild have now shipped off HALF!! HALF!!! of the blue line they iced in Florida a few days ago!

Jarick 02-27-2012 03:15 PM

That would have been awesome, Zanon for Rolston and Harding for Roloson+. We're gettin the band back together!

State of Hockey 02-27-2012 03:15 PM

I think it's pretty clear now after three years that Fletcher doesn't trade for many draft picks.

Kampfer is another of what we already have an abundance of - an AHL/NHL tweener.

tyratoku 02-27-2012 03:15 PM

website is getting nailed right now, but he's rated a 6.5B

Kampfer is expected to make the Bruins out of camp and compete for a regular spot in the top-six. It’s hard to get a read on Kampfer’s long-term upside because he played through his senior season in college with a concussion and his professional sample size is very small. But based on what he’s shown thus far, his aggressive physical game, his good mobility, and strong puck-moving skills, he may yet prove that he can be a top-four defenseman in the NHL.

Avder 02-27-2012 03:16 PM

Who the Eff is Kampfer tho?

Persian Wild 02-27-2012 03:16 PM

Who is STEVEN KAMPFER??? :-/

this providence 02-27-2012 03:17 PM

Kid seems intriguing. Depth if anything.

Minnesota 02-27-2012 03:18 PM

Kampfer's 23, 5'11", from Michigan.

Projected to be top-four defender. Guys, we totally won this trade.

TaLoN 02-27-2012 03:18 PM

Zidlicky, Schultz and Zanon...all three guys I wanted gone! :handclap:

Steven Kampfer

ASSETS: Is a solid puck mover with enough offensive acumen to produce points at lower levels.

FLAWS: Lacks ideal size for the blueline position for the National Hockey League game.

CAREER POTENTIAL: Puck-moving defenseman with a little upside.
AHL 12gp 1g 5pts -3
NHL 10gp 0g 2pts +6

NHL 38gp 5g 10pts +9
AHL 22gp 3g 16pts +10

AHL 6gp 1g 3pts -2

A little offensive upside, adds competition to the blue line at least.
