Who's Out? When Will They Be Back?
 

Dmitry Kulikov 2012-01-22 on injured reserve knee surgery
Scottie Upshall 2012-01-25 on injured reserve and will miss 4-6 weeks sports hernia surgery
Matt Bradley 2012-02-20 on injured reserve and is out indefinitely upper body
Kris Versteeg 2012-02-27 will miss at least one week lower body

Versteeg,Goc, and Kulikov I expect back in lineup, everyone else can be scratched or sent to minors (if possible) Our current lineup is better without the likes of Bradley, Upshall, Sturm, and Madden.

Disagree. Moving into the playoffs, Sturm would be more valuable than Barch tenfold. Barch is starting to get a quality chances every game, but not converting. Gudbranson is doing his job better. Regular season he is needed, pretty soon, no.

Sorry, I do agree with you about Sturm. Didn't mean to add Sturm to that list. I think Bradley is a waste in my view. He reminds me of Tarnasky or Greg Campbell, more or less a warm body but doesn't contribute too much.

Barch is a checking forward, he's not a goal scorer. He's here to fight, check, wear out the competition, and get under their skin. He does that well, however, I'd expect him to lose a spot to Sturm, too.

See above for guys like Bradley and Campbell. Both of whom do that role very well. And don't hurt the team.

I personally think Bradley is expendable.. I don't want to say he's a waste but I don't like him. I think Barch does a better job than he does. Bradley can't even fight too well and he's apparently known as being somewhat of a fighter.

Well, if it came down to it, I personally would choose Barch, and I'd rather have Sturm in there, but Bradley does his job well enough.

Goc will definitely bump Santorelli out of the lineup. If Dineen takes anyone but Santorelli out he's insane. Barch is an enforcer, a necessary role. He's not supposed to score. He does his job well. When Sturm gets healthy, he'll get some games. Idk who he'll bump out, but I think some of the bottom 6 forwards will be rotating in and out based on performance.

I think when they return it will give Dineen a few options and he will be able to adjust the starters slightly depending on who the opposition is. Barch doesn't need to play every game as not every team requires an enforcer when going up against.

Versteeg to miss at least next 3 games. Knowing the Panthers it's gonna be much longer :(

With everyone getting injured, at least it gives us the chance to see about every player -_-

If there was a positive thankfully we have a lot of depth and will be able to see how each one produces... I'm looking for the guys who just got in the lineup (madden) along with guys who know if they don't start playing to the level of expectations (Santo) to have a fire under their rear ends.

Should be no longer than 2 weeks.

im not sure i think the last update said mid march so i wouldnt be surprised if he is back skating next week.
