  • "We never give up. That's what we do, we get our swords and we're swinging as hard as we can. It's very easy and we could have turned it off a long time ago. I've got so many comments from other coaches and other players from other teams that say I just can't believe you guys are still going. That's who we are. Our owner is like that, our GM is like that, and so is our coaching staff and players. I think that's really what the people of Tampa Bay should be proud of. That's why they come to see the games. Whether we are the underdogs or we're the team that's suppose to win, our relentless attitude and our willingness to do more to win is our trademark. Whether it's coming back in the 3rd period because we are trailing by 4 or 5 goals or it's coming in on a back-to-back against a team that never loses, with Heddy out and all the trades, that's why I think people should, and that's why they do pay to see our team. Hopefully they keep on cheering us the rest of the way because we're doing it for them. We're doing it so we have a community that's proud of the type of individuals, not just the type of players that represent them.''

  • "You want to fight until the end. We wanted to make sure we got at least one win on this road trip and like we said (before the game), we want to just make sure we keep hanging around. You never know what happens. We are going back home, so let's give ourselves a chance and we did that (against New Jersey) by getting the two points.''

LET'S GO BOLTS!

Maelmoor 02-28-2012 02:35 AM

Will be interesting to see how the new players will do, I was suprised SFY was as active as he was but we will see how the moves will pan out.

Our lineup has changed so much during just one year.

Gone: (including players that joined/left this summer):
Smitty
Kubina
Moore
Gagne
Bergenheim
Gilroy
Downie

Injuried:
Vinny
Hedman
MAB
Ohlund

Im sure I forgot some players.

LightningStrikes 02-28-2012 05:23 AM

Trevor Smith was sent down too. Our only scratched forward vs. the Pens and Devils was Shannon. So my guess is he's either ready to go or we're dressing 7 D which makes you wonder who's #7 with Hedman probably out, Bergeron still hurt and Aulie not ready to cross the boarder before Wednesday (no visa).

Benders Lindyhop 02-28-2012 05:32 AM

I want to see Stamkos score some goals
Lee to show the other Dmen what a pass out of the zone looks like (Sens fans seem to think that this is one of his pluses)
Commodore to hit something. Often and hard. If he can get anybody to stand still long enough for him to get there.

I asked EE this question last night that with Smith and Angelidis both being reassigned and only Segal joining the lineup we would have an empty slot.

@Tamby1054 Potential AHL playoff rosters had to be set today hence the reassignments, I'd expect Smith comes right back up, but we'll see

But if AHL playoff rosters are being set and Segal got recalled, then does that mean Segal is not on the Ads playoff roster?

No way we're going with 7 D in the next set of games. That's Advanced Boucherian Intensonomics.

Ah alright. Thanks for clearing that up!

Does that mean Segal is here to stay?

Felonious Python 02-28-2012 05:55 AM

Got to watch out for Gomez.

You guys know who Aulie is paired with? Well I guess too soon, after practice I guess.

Boucher is the ****ing man

toob 02-28-2012 08:44 AM

Purcell has been on fire of late
help carry the team man :handclap:

Stammertime91 02-28-2012 09:24 AM

We really have to win this, we are three gp behind Winnipegboard and we need to win this, this cant be another wasted game.

Like the guy said above, watch out for their premier goal scorer, Gomez, he's Alaskan!

Hopefully Purcell, Stammer and Marty keep it going but we need the back end to hold up, hopefully Lee turns out to be impressive and can actually contribute. Aulie should be the best one out of all of them I think. Commodore is like kubina, although if you can imagine this....he's slower. :amazed:

Labrie up would be good news, though!

So much for not messing with Norfolk. Are these guys ever going to catch a break?
