2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.

If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

I hope the early start time doesn't screw with the crowd much. Should be near a full house with the Pens and our current situation, I know I'll be ready.

Vancouver again :handclap:

Goose redeems his 3 minutes ToI in the last meeting with a hat trick.

Neal somehow hits the same number of posts in one game as he did his entire career in Dallas.

impossible

Captain Awesome 02-29-2012 02:13 AM

I don't have a good feeling on this one, over/under on Malkin getting 3 points tomorrow?

I think it'd be poetic if Benn just rocked Neal at some point during the match, knocking him off the puck, and then dancing Nisky out wide and scoring a nice goal. It has to be out wide or else it doesn't count.

`I'm not [upset with Stars general manager Joe] Nieuwendyk, because it turned out to be the right thing for me," Niskanen said Tuesday.

"But, at the same time, I think I'll have a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, just playing ... [against] a team that kind of overlooked you in the end. Yeah, I think I'll have a chip on my shoulder."
Overlooked? Really?

Modo 02-29-2012 04:06 AM

Seriously?

He was given every opportunity in Dallas, and fell flat on his face without Zubie. We all saw it. Some may have overlooked all his flaws and bad nights while they defended him, and I'll admit I was a Nisky fan for a while even as he struggled, but this is just sour grapes to me.

LoneStarHockey 02-29-2012 08:20 AM

Since we got absolutely no help last night, this game is a must win. Let's get two points tonight!

GO STARS!

What line should be matched up against the Malkin line?

I'm thinking just put the Ribeiro line against them.

Arpi3080 02-29-2012 10:41 AM

Lines used at practice are reported by ESPN Dallas to be these...

Quote:

Eriksson-Ribeiro-Ryder
Ott-Benn-Burish
Nystrom-Fiddler-Dvorak
Garbutt-Wandell-Vincour

i'd put ott-benn-burish against them, pitt is as much of a one line team as we are right now

Yeah don't put your worst defensive line against their one really good scoring line.. Even Eriksson can't make up for that line's defensive struggles.

I think he is probably referring to the trade, and in relation to how he is performing now.
You have to know both Niskanen and especially Neal had to feel a little undervalued after that trade went down.

That's what I was thinking at first, but it's Benn's first game back and you're gonna throw him up against the best line the league?

He is Jamie Benn though, so he can probably handle it. :naughty:

DaStars99 02-29-2012 11:01 AM

oh Nisky
