Summarize the season in 1 game

If I have to summarize the whole season in one game, then that game will be like this:

First period
1. Cole (Desharnais, Subban) --> 1-0
Habs penalty: too-many-men-on-ice

Second period
2. Pacioretty (Desharnais, Cole) --> 2-0
3. XXX --> 2-1
4. Desharnais (Cole, Pacioretty) --> 3-1
Habs penalty: Plekanec

Third period
5. YYY SHG at 2:00 --> 3-2
6. ZZZ at 19:30 --> 3-3
Habs penalties: Subban, Eller

SO
Habs shoot : 0
XXX shoot : 1
Habs shoot: 0
YYY shoot: 1

Stats:
Habs PP: 0/7
Shots: Habs: 35 - Opponents: 25
Plekanec: -3

Do I miss anything ?

Yeah, you have to fire a coach right before the first period starts and trade a player in between the second and third periods.

hahhahaha, made me laugh so hard!

Also, you give AK 4:20 of icetime then bench his ass for the rest of the game.

Then he gets traded right after the end of the game.

Darche gets the 1st star of the game.

llamateizer 03-02-2012 09:06 AM

Gomez with most PP ice time
Darche with 20+ min
I'd also replace last goal by Pacioretty

Desharnais could've had 1 or 2 more points in this game if he had more confidence in his shot.

You really picked on Pleks in this one. There are worse players...

Agreed, but it's true he hasn't done anything worthwhile in 20-30 games.... THEN AGAIN, he's not getting that much support. He must miss Gionta so much...

I would have given him a point in the first period, since he had a good start to the season.

No doubt, there are many worse players. In fact, Plekanec is one of our best players.

I show penalty because he's one of the forward that takes the most penalties (most of them are minor penalties, and almost no roughness penalties that are cancelled when the opponent got penalized too)

I show the minus (-) because he's the worse in our team with -20. I simply show the fact.

Well, I could show that Plekanec has a goal or an assist. But the fact that DD line dominates so much in this season, and I have only 3 goals to give to players.

yesterday would have been a perfect example if we had lost in the SO

Not really, since they scored few goals in PP.

1. Dont forget the players ZZZ & YYY never even scored in the nhl, until a game against the Habs.
2. Dont forget players being traded between the 2nd and the 3rd.
3. Dont forget players wearing number #17 are not good.
4. Dont forget softies by Price (after blocking the first 31 shots)
(Do i need to add :sarcasm: ?)
5. Dont forget JM adding X & O's after good, bad, irrelevant plays, on his paper.
