"Are You Ready?" by AC/DC

PJStock* 03-16-2012 11:02 AM

So I take it Meszaros tore a muscle in his groin? Had he just sprained it, he would have been back already, no?

Vikke 03-16-2012 11:13 AM

Despite our recent good play and the Broons slumping, I'm really worried.

Unstable 03-16-2012 11:13 AM

A week ago I would have said big test, now it's more like must win. Especially with PIT 23.5 hours later.

I'm wondering if Lavi might start Bryz both days...

Hockeypete49 03-16-2012 12:04 PM

We better be ready cause they are going to come out like gang busters.

Thanks MSE. The Beatles, The greatist band of allllllllllllllll timeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Personally, I'd go with Bryz against Boston, and Bob against Pittsburgh since he seems to have their number.

Bryz tomorrow and decide Sunday's starter based on his play / fatigue?

McNasty 03-16-2012 12:59 PM

Unless Bryz gets shelled in Boston I can't find any reason not to play him in both games.

BWAVgal 03-16-2012 01:17 PM

I have to miss this one to go food shopping w/ my mom. Just coming off hip replacement so she needs help. It's just a rule in my house that I never miss a game and this is killing me to miss a big game like this. So I traded Saturday so I wouldn't miss Sunday's game. Tried to listen to the game on my MP3 player last time and it wouldn't work. Darn it.

BleedOrange 03-16-2012 02:17 PM

Bryz clearly did not want to take full credit for the streak and as any meritorious teammate would do he made it about the team. ”It’s not for me. It’s a team accomplishment because I was not alone on the ice,” he said. ”It’s a team thing and I think the whole team deserved it. We set the new record. I just to say congratulations to the organization and the players who played these games.”

Seems everything is the team now Bryz doesnt take credit for anything himself anymore witch is good cause before all he wanted to talk about was himself..:yo:

SolidSnakeUS 03-16-2012 02:45 PM

Kick them while they're down. Don't let up on these guys. Hope to see a big game from Bryz.

FlyersFan61290 03-16-2012 02:54 PM

Would love to see a 60 minute domination but i doubt that happens. flyers always seem to let up and put themselves in a pickle so to speak. Anyway, lets start a new streak and go flyers!

funghoul 03-16-2012 03:27 PM

They really need to change the divisions' to conferences. That 3rd seed annihilates me because of how intense and superior our division is. Nobody should be pampered in because of their weak division. ********.

I completely agree but similarly if the Flyers, Rags, Pens, Devils, Caps, Islanders and Canes were in one conference and only 4 teams could make the playoffs they'd be in a similar situation.

March 17 is a key day in the history of the American Revolution. Playing the Beatles made sense. :sarcasm:

bennysflyers16 03-16-2012 11:23 PM

B's have dropped to 7th, they should be fired up. Time to for Bryz to change our afternoon game suckage :handclap:

JGardiner51 03-16-2012 11:35 PM

Is bryz starting tomorow?
Does anyone know yet if bryz is starting?

Gert B Frobe 03-16-2012 11:35 PM

3/17/1776 the day General Howe abandoned Boston and ran away to Nova Scotia. I would like to think I know more than most about American history - but I don't know much about Canadian history. Like the part that explains why Toronto local news has a story on the British royals every damn night. Wierd.

And what the hell Owls???? Jesus USF suuuucks too. Frickin losing to a 12 seed and scoring 44 damn points my GOD. And I don't want to hear all this crap about how great the USF defense is.

More than likely; however, Laviolette usually refrains from confirming the starting goalie until game day.

Yukon Cornelius 03-16-2012 11:47 PM

Respect the streak, recognize my absence from the GTD threads and our winning ways but ****** it, here's a topical ditty I've been to known to play between periods

wouldn't make sense to put Bob in now..

Appleyard 03-17-2012 04:45 AM

Song gets me every time... seeing as more Irish blood flows through me than English.

Thousands are sailing
Across the western ocean
To a land of opportunity
That some of them will never see
Fortune prevailing
Across the western ocean
Their bellies full
Their spirits free
They'll break the chains of poverty
And they'll dance

Thousands are sailing
Across the western ocean
Where the hand of opportunity
Draws tickets in a lottery
Where e'er we go, we celebrate
The land that makes us refugees
From fear of priests with empty plates
From guilt and weeping effigies
And we dance

saskriders 03-17-2012 07:46 AM

I hate both teams. But I hope you guys win. Beat the Bruins!!!!

hckyplayer8 03-17-2012 08:20 AM

With Sestito out, Rinadlo needs to step up.
