Unless I am missing it, the link to ESPN doesn't show TV coverage for the Frozen Four.

According to Wikipedia, the first Semi game is on ESPNU while the second Semi game and the Final will be aired on ESPN2.

I think its been that way for a few years now. Interesting BC and Maine got put in the same regional. They played each other just last night in the HockeyEast Final

RJ8812 03-18-2012 04:57 PM

seriously....why is it in Tampa?

Still, the ESPN website lists TV and time info for the prior rounds but not the Frozen Four? Seems like an omission.

This college hockey site lists games in the Frozen Four Semis as on ESPN2 which is what I thought.

Thursday, April 7
5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. — National semifinals, ESPN2

Saturday, April 9
7 p.m. — National championship, ESPN

A few years ago, Anaheim had the event.

There's a host team. For Tampa, it is Alabama-Huntsville which ices a Division 1 team though that is scheduled to cease after this season.

Pittsburgh and Philly get the next two Frozen Four tourneys.

flyersguy33* 03-18-2012 05:15 PM

yea, the frozen four has been on espn2 the last few years, Im sure itll be on there again. Surprised the BU Minnesota game isnt being shown live on ESPN U. Should be a good one

I dont think it was a intentional omission not listing the tv listings for the final 4 at the ESPN site. Not sure how much I will be paying attention to this years tournament with UNH having such a down year.

Good. Cannot wait to watch this year. There is alot of talent to be seen and you just know the Flyers will have their eye out for some FA's.

Odds have now been posted.

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1139675

We created the odds ranking the four number one seeds based on seeding. Each number 2 seed was treated equally, same with #3s and #4s.

Hockeypete49 03-23-2012 03:46 PM

Mich St hanging in. down 2-1 after two to Union. Good game.

So far so good for me. I have Miami and they were down 3 zip. But they just potted two in 14 seconds so I still have a shot. 2 and 0 right now on my bracket.

ESPN U

^ The third period has been remarkable. Great snare by the UMass-Lowell goalie but now Miami, O has a 5-minute major in a 3-3 game -- 3-goal comeback -- under 4 to play.

sa cyred 03-23-2012 08:18 PM

Parks will be be on tom playing for UND. Looking forward to seeing how he plays.

GKJ 03-23-2012 08:29 PM

How massive of an eruption would there be on HF if that major power play happened in an NHL playoff game? In a Game 7 no less (all these games are Game 7's).

Michigan was given a 5-minute major power play during which:
  1. they committed a minor penalty (no goal)
  2. on another play, Cornell was given a penalty shot (no goal)
  3. later, Michigan was given a 5-on-3 (no goal)

flyersfan018 03-23-2012 11:33 PM

I'll be rooting for BC. A kid on the team grew up about 5 minutes from my house and is the same age as me. A few of my friends went to high school with him.
