Coyotes 3 Oilers 2 SHOOTOUT

Bleh. Can't blow a 2 goal lead going into the final period.

Nunymare 03-18-2012 09:50 PM

I cannot stand losing to this team. Don't know why, but it just pisses me off so much.

**** Phoenix.

Joseppi 03-18-2012 09:50 PM

At least Columbus won :(

GreatKeith 03-18-2012 09:50 PM

Mike Smith bailed the Coyotes out big time.

Lobotomizer* 03-18-2012 09:50 PM

Well, off to CP to enjoy the meltdown.

syz 03-18-2012 09:51 PM

Please let any team other than Phoenix make the playoffs.

Rawg 03-18-2012 09:51 PM

Petry..

Mr Forever 03-18-2012 09:51 PM

Whatever

vb 03-18-2012 09:52 PM

What a terrible pp in ot. No killer instinct.

Alberta tough 03-18-2012 09:52 PM

Why does our defence pinch at the wrong times so much?

Tarus 03-18-2012 09:53 PM

Phx trapped until the mistake prone Oilers made one mistake too many, nothing really new.

Calgary loses, Phx wins, can't be too upset with this one personally.

Great set of tools but a lot of bad reads and giveaways game to game. He's going to be a great dman when he puts it all together.

The team IMO has taken it upon themselves to make sure RNH wins the calder, they were trying to get him the puck the whole PP.

Booya42 03-18-2012 09:54 PM

Well...Hartski played well. Hemsky showed some nice flashes, and Landeskog didn't get any points. :yo:

Missing Hall will do that

Yeah. We saw the good, bad and ugly from Petry tonight. This is why I don't refer to him as a top pairing Dman like some people around here like to. He's come a long way since the start of the season but he still has a lot to learn before he will be a true top pairing guy on a playoff team.

Disagree, he hasn't made bad reads and giveaways for many games. He was actually ok in this game but made a few glaring mistakes, can't hold it too much against him.

Insta 03-18-2012 09:57 PM

Petry was playing to win rather than "not to lose". People here should be ecstatic! :P

Put him in the shootout over Hemsky too. I get it, it's the kids' team going forward, but this was not the game to keep Hemsky out of shootout, he was dangerous all night.

Happy Hallidays 03-18-2012 09:58 PM

This one really pisses me off, I hate Phoenix so much, I hope they get decimated in the first round and get embarrassed.

We can't blow a two goal lead like that, ugh. Why does Whitney get put out on the PP he's a left handed shot and is useless playin with Nuge on the half wall.. Frustrating loss to say the least.

Definitely could have used his extra gear out there.

Agreed. The guy plays great for the entire second half the of the year and finally has a crap game. I wonder if it's a mental thing with him. Renney gave Whitney-Schultz the Doan matchup tonight and let Smid-Petry go against weaker lines. Petry responds with his worse game since the all star break.

The Nuge 03-18-2012 10:01 PM

Missed the last half the game because of a ****** connection. Did we suck or just try not to lose?

Shanahanigans 03-18-2012 10:01 PM

Petry was trying to be too cute, like that dumb move he made when he took the penalty.

Anyways, Flames lose to the Jackets. Awesome.

agreed, he makes one nice play and people think he's our next #1.
