Guess they wanted to allow people to get a glimpse of the Royals before they're (inevitably) gonzo. ;)

I am glad SHAW telecasts the plays offs every year.

I am not convinced Kamloops / Victoria is going to be a great series , but you never know.

Of course I was hoping for Calgary / Brandon but can deal with it.

However, if a series ends early, they should switch to another series.

The reason as to why these two teams were picked is because they are the only two BC teams playing each other.
It would cost to much to travel back and forth to the states to show a game.
As they get closer to the cup I am sure that they will show American games as well if they are playing a BC team.

I look foward to watching the playoffs. If they really wanted to save costs. They could have put on Moose Jaw vs Regina - less than an hour apart.

That and I believe that the Royals games got the most views of all the games Shaw televised. Just something I heard.

Shaw will be televising the second round - Moose Jaw vs Medicine Hat. Should be a good series.

any rumors on if they're doing the Edmonton vs Moose Jaw Series?

CdnSailor 04-12-2012 11:03 PM

I would say most likely as it will be an all Canadian series

Yes they are televising this series.

Too bad they weren't televising game # 7 in either of the other series.
