NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER
Good matchup, possible playoff preview. The teams are very alike, though our offense has skyrocketed recently, here's hoping it continues... GO KINGS!

Second night of a back-to-back for St. Louis, who just lost to the Ducks the night before we play them (just like San Jose did). We've been given gifts with our opponents being on the second nights of back-to-backs. It is absolutely imperative that we capitalize, even if the Blues come out upset. We need to match and surpass their energy and effort, just like we did in San Jose. I predict big games from Clifford, Kopi, Richards, and Williams. And Quick, but that's a given.
4-2 KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As always, thanks for the GDT PuckU!! Let's hope this isn't a let down game after an emotional win against San Jose. We've battled hard to get into 8th, let's not stop there.

It's amazing what a little thing like a winning streak happens when I decide to cut down on the caffeine... I might be irritable the next few games though...but then some of you won't be able to tell the difference...;)
GO KINGS GO!!!!!

Well, we can actually afford to lose a game so far :P
Hoping that there isn't a letdown. If we come out hard like we have been lately and score the first goal, we have this one! I believe!!!

Word!
Blues lost last night. That doesn't happen very often. I'm betting they'll be good and pissed off.
I don't know what to make of them. Sometimes we play them really well, other times they make us look like junior varsity. That being said, this is the first time we've faced the Blues under Hitchcock, so it should be interesting. Both of us are pretty big, young teams with a few bangers. Hoping it makes for good hockey :handclap:

This is the third game the Kings play against the Hitchcock Blues. Previously, the Kings won 3-2 and lost 1-0 against the Hitchcock Blues (the Kings also had a 5-0 win against the Blues pre-Hitchcock).

I say we score 6. Players under Hitchcock eventually tune the guy out & rebel. Now's as good a time as any.

I think it's the 2nd game - they were under Hitchcock the last time the Kings played them IIRC.

We know this well... when your system is defense first, last and only, getting that last line change option is hugely important.

Here's hoping the Blues are phoning these games in now that they've hit their magic number and clinched a spot. Gotta be tough to really get up for games in that scenario.

BEAT DEEZ *****ES.
The Blues are a damn good team but they're coming off a loss last night. Hopefully this will be a repeat of the Sharks game.

They're playing for the President's Trophy now, so not exactly nothing to play for.

Another team coming of a B2B. Kings gotta capitalize on these especially during a playoff push. Gotta match their intensity, and no let down.

I believe that yesterday was the first game the Blues have lost this season after scoring 3 goals. The first team to score 3 is going to win this one probably. In that case, there probably won't even be 3 goals scored. Hopefully the Kings continue their 3+ goal streak.

Blues rookie jaden schwartz has scored in first first two NHL games on his first two shots....
Is sure hope he doesn't go 3 for 3...

This game feels like a test since for the first time in a while, it's not a must-win* scenario. But we should still be playing at that level of urgency. This might be where Sutter's emphasis on preparedness comes in to play. I would love to show the league that we're for real by beating the top point team.
*At least the past dozen or so games have felt that way...

Jaden? God help us.. what a horrible name. Thinking of George Carlin. Eddie and Frank will kick Jayden's ass.
