haohmaru 03-23-2012 06:49 PM

Guy can't catch a break. ****!!!

Colt Seavers 03-23-2012 06:50 PM

Kid had been looking really good & was a big help to the team.
This sucks.

bmw2004 03-23-2012 06:56 PM

This is bad news. You think he is done for the season with this kind of injury?

Sean Aviary 03-23-2012 06:57 PM

Oh good this will be the last we hear about him this year.

JeffMangum 03-23-2012 06:57 PM

Umm...go whoever is playing BC!

Glennsoe 03-23-2012 06:57 PM

He's done..

Sad but true..

WhipNash27 03-23-2012 06:57 PM

bleh, now we need Kreider

ReverbAndDelay 03-23-2012 06:58 PM

**** **** ****! He was really looking like a part of this club.

FATCHAMALA11 03-23-2012 07:04 PM

Mitchell sucks hard?.

Wrong thread but he still does.

Vitto79 03-23-2012 07:09 PM

well this blows hard...............how long does it take to heal from a fractured wrist?

this hurts there chances big time. Feds is a good vet to step in but does not have the offense of Zuke..........then Mitchell kicks in a goal to boot..........punch us in the face

dare I say Kreider for sure if his team losses on Sat?. I think so

Wtf dude?

A player of your team get's injured after blocking a shot and you're acting like a keyboard warrior wishing it would've happened earlier..

I don't understand certain "fans"...

They are not true fans.

we want cup 03-23-2012 07:39 PM

Brutal. Just as it seems like he's turning the corner to be an impact player, too.

mrhockey193195 03-23-2012 07:39 PM

Does this guarantee that he's out for the rest of the season? Obviously we have no idea how severe it is, but can someone come back from a fractured wrist within a month or two?

Glennsoe 03-23-2012 07:42 PM

I'm thinking 6 weeks in a cast and then carefully training it up again...

http://www.speedupfracturehealing.com/testimonials.html ( speedupfracturehealingdot com if the link doesnt show)

too slow a internet connection for me to know just what this is, but Im hopeing something could be done to speed up his recovery!

haohmaru 03-23-2012 08:12 PM

I highly doubt we see him again until training camp.

NickyFotiu 03-23-2012 08:20 PM

I messed up 3 small bones in wrist. I played with a soft cast but it took years to be back to normal. With that said there are different kinds of wrist injuries. 1 key thing is which wrist it is. Is it his left or right?

Oh darn I was hoping it was his non shooting hand. I shoot right and it was my right wrist. The twisting motion a player makes for snap and wrist shots puts pressure on the wrist. Seems so unfair. The kid deserved a call up for so long. Finally gets one and now this. All my favorite players in sports get injured. I'm a jinx. I'm hoping his wrist isnt as bad as mine was or a different kind of wrist injury. I know he cant play with a cast but me being an idiot I did play with a soft cast that had a metal deal in it to prevent my wrist from bending.

Awful thing to happen.

He improved his skating and strength and he started earning a long-term spot.

And then this.

I hope he resigns, gets to 100% and kills it in camp in September and sticks long-term.

Embryo* 03-23-2012 08:51 PM

He's gone for the season. Time to move on.

Obviously, he is done the rest of the season. I kinda don't think he is going to resign here. Not unless they give him a one way contract for a year or so(I doubt it).

I think he is going to a team that actively pursues him in the offseason and better fits his play style.

You mean a team where he doesn't have to hurl himself in front of 100 mph bombs?
