Does anyone have a good stream for the NCAA Hockey games later?

Every game i've watched has been grainy...I can't get ESPNU either or else I'd just watch it there...is there a way I can just buy the stream through the NCAA?

Golden Gophers coming to town and I got my tickets :handclap:

Oh yeah, and I think all of our prospects are out. Bummer.

BC vs. Minnesota
Union vs. Ferris State

***** going down in Tampa! Can't wait.

Tokala 03-26-2012 08:45 AM

I've been waiting for the Frozen Four for years after they announced it was coming to Tampa.

Sucks that I haven't had much work this year so far and $195 is better used on other things. I'll try to catch some games on TV.

I am so jealous. Go Minnesota!

Starts today! Can't wait! And I won't have to watch the Bolts screw up.

HoseEmDown 04-05-2012 02:18 PM

Going to the 1st game, don't know much about either team except neither has a drafted player. I hope that means they'll play harder to impress than the studs in game 2.

Gross is a great goalie, Hobey finalist, and a nice guy to boot.

Keep an eye on Union. I'm pulling for the Dutchmen.

ThunderAlleyNomad 04-06-2012 07:57 AM

Well that game sucked! Really good crowd though, and I saw a fair amount of Lightning gear.

Go Ferris State!

What a horrible event yesterday.

I wish someone would have told me that the NCAA is anti-fun. No alcohol at a hockey game? Really?

Didn't help that the games were horrible, had no flow at all with stoppages every 20 seconds, not to mention the blowout in the "big" game.

They didn't even show replays of anything they reviewed or of penalties. Hate to sound so bitter, but it was probably one of the worst sports events I've ever been to.

It's no wonder this is the first time they've played it in the south. Why anyone besides the fans of the teams would want to go is beyond me.

No booze for a few hours is really not that big of a deal. Would have liked a beer, but not a problem.

And the atmosphere was awesome. Different tastes, but other than the score of the 2nd game, I thought it was a great day.

EbencoyE 04-06-2012 07:10 PM

8 hours is a bit more than a few hours, but I digress. It wasn't so much the not being able to drink as it was nobody alerting us that not only could we not buy beer inside, we weren't allowed to leave after we went in. When I'm paying twelve hundred bucks to be there, it would be nice if they would at least tell us about those things.

Atmosphere was fun. I love college sports, and pep bands at hockey games are awesome.

I was disappointed by the small student sections though. BC seemed like the only school that actually had any students there.

Still a horribly-run event by the NCAA overall.

Ahhh. You're ticket rep should have told you there wasn't any alcohol. Or they should have had it on the tickets or the website, if you bought online. I knew ahead of time, so I was ok with that.

And holy ****! You paid $1200? As in actual American dollars?

HoseEmDown 04-06-2012 08:15 PM

I ended up staying and watching both games so was a good day. The beer thing sucked at first but then I found where they were selling it outside. The first game started very slow but the third wasn't bad. The "big" game was awesome except for the fact Minnesota couldn't score. There was end to end action, great passing, shooting, hitting and some chippyness. I was in the Minnesota section and they were pretty load and exciting. They also had the hottest of all the coeds plus cheerleaders. I hope they come back again.
