2012 Entry Draft: Top 10 Montreal Canadiens Wish List (Poll #1)

We can very much assume that the 2011-2012 edition of the Montreal Canadien will finish in the bottom third of the NHL standing. With that in mind, what would be the top 10 players from the 2012 Entry Draft that the Habs should be targeting as their first selection? To reformulate the question: in order, what is the 10 players the fans on this board want to see wear the Canadiens jersey in the future.

In a series of 10 consecutive poll, ten players will be up for voting each round. The first ten players up for voting will be taken from the latest International Scouting Service list. You will be invited to nominate a player to be add in each rounds.

The poll should last between 24-48 hours and will be close automatically. In case of a tie, a poll between the best nominees will be add.

Alex Galchenyuk was ranked #16 on the last ISS list. I would be surprise if he's not the very first player to be add in the poll.

chaosrevolver 03-24-2012 10:58 PM

Yakupov. Add Galcheynuk.

I'm going to vote Grigorenko or Galchenyuk if Grig gone by #2 in every poll :/ they are the only 2 players I'm interested in.

I've kind of soured on Yakupov since his concussion and I don't like his size. Although I certainly won't mind if we draft him.

MasterD 03-24-2012 11:14 PM

Fosrberg

Add Galchenyuk

Sweeney 03-24-2012 11:19 PM

Forsberg.
Add Galchenyuk

Teufelsdreck 03-24-2012 11:37 PM

I would select the best pure scorer. Poor Plekanec is playing with wings that are missing a lot of feathers. I suppose that's Nail but I'd leave it up to Timmins.

After Yakupov the next best pure scorer is who Forsberg?

overlords 03-25-2012 12:27 AM

I vote Galchenyuk...oh wait...

He is the only answer.

Beatnik 03-25-2012 12:41 AM

Good idea, this should be fun. Add Glachenyuk.

Why do you want a winger? If Grigs is available wouldn't it be better for the team to finally pick its big #1 centre?

Should wait until we know where we're drafting exactly ?

I'd be happy with Gal, Grig, or Yak

The point is to figure out who we would pick with the #1. We will then vote for #2, #3...

WeThreeKings 03-25-2012 09:19 AM

Yakupov.

Add Galchenyuk.

I think allot of people did not realized that or maybe many really like Forsberg.
