NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

We kept battling back, killed some huge penalties, played the way we usually do.
I wanted to score. I haven't had that much trouble in the six years we've had shootouts or whatever it's been. I wanted to get out of the slump.
- Brad Richards

I thought we played a pretty decent game. We had some good energy. We did a good job coming back from 2-1.
Our penalty kill was great, it was huge, three in a row. Usually, when you get three in a row like that, it’s trouble.
- Dan Girardi

That line gave us some good shifts, and like I’ve said, we need Duby, but I’m not going to watch the same mistakes all the time.
For us to get where we want to be, he needs to be part of this. I have said this from day one, but we need to see it consistently in all parts of his game.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is a work in progress.

silverfish 03-26-2012 07:53 PM

Gotta keep winning.

LGR

Killem Dafoe 03-26-2012 07:57 PM

EC scores at least a goal.

LGR win this ****!

Bob Richards 03-26-2012 08:14 PM

Start Hank again. Win 10-0. Stop imitating the New York Giants with the stress BS.

DoTheBlue 03-26-2012 08:24 PM

An GDT before midnight? Loffen must have insomnia.

Rangers 6 Wild 0.

Not a chance in hell.

nafsregnar27 03-26-2012 08:26 PM

I say give Biron the start, Lundqvist needs rest. I'm praying for a shutout or an otl to lessen the blow if they screw up.

No time for rest, home-ice advantage is too important. He got to sit at home in bed when he was sick with the flu.

3-1 Rangers, Gaborik nets another two against his former club, Dubinsky with the empty-netter.

Killem Dafoe 03-26-2012 08:39 PM

yeah, we need Hank in net. He needs to get into his groove. Done with rest, now you prepare.

TrueBlue9 03-26-2012 08:44 PM

non rivalry game, minnestoa with a ton of injuries. I would like to see for once this team just dictate play from the beginning and dominate instead of playing to the level of their opponent

nafsregnar27 03-26-2012 08:47 PM

I've already given up on the idea of finishing on top. We're finish fourth it's not that bad thing. Henrik needs to be fresh by playoff time to sweep the Flyers.

Bleed Blue 24 7 03-26-2012 08:48 PM

we should dominate these next 3 games vs wild, jets, and the habs

LGR!!

Defeatist attitude. We've been on top of the conference all season long. There's absolutely no reason to cede to Pittsburgh all of a sudden.

johnnydollaz89* 03-26-2012 08:53 PM

We NEED this win with the Pens likely crushing the Isles tomorrow.

WeWillWinTonight 03-26-2012 09:03 PM

Start Biron still win, isles do us a solid?

Ail 03-26-2012 09:05 PM

megawin

Killem Dafoe 03-26-2012 09:49 PM

Gabby with 4 goals tomorrow night. Mark my words.

FultonReed 03-26-2012 09:56 PM

i need a birthday win, here, guys. it'd make the day perfect. LGR! :yo:

Absolutely crucial to gain home ice, if we are to have any chance in topping the Pens in the playoffs.

Machinehead 03-26-2012 10:23 PM

This is an incoming loss. We're gonna go in thinking this is a joke and the Wild are gonna look at it as a chance to knock off the best team in the league.

I doubt Tortorella will let the team go into tomorrow night's game being mentally unprepared.

I can think of games where we started very slowly and didn't look good, but I can't think of one game where we didn't show up and took the opponent lightly all year.

Screw You Rick Nash 03-26-2012 10:53 PM

We better beat them.

And watch Christensen score a hat-trick.

NYR1724 03-26-2012 11:12 PM

Guessing lines are:

62-19-10
42-21-24
17-22-26
71-34-8

27-5
4-32
18-41

Fel 96 03-26-2012 11:14 PM

Good luck everyone.

Let's hope Gaborik will go for 5... again.
