Yes. Big 2 points.

charlie460 03-27-2012 09:26 PM

Swedish Fish 03-27-2012 09:26 PM

Net Front Presence 03-27-2012 09:27 PM

Awesome night all around

Callagraves 03-27-2012 09:27 PM

3-2 regulation win.

I'm good with this.

Giacomin 03-27-2012 09:27 PM

Great team effort!

silverfish 03-27-2012 09:27 PM

Last 10 minutes of that game were great defensively, everyone responsible and making the right reads/plays.

6 more games of that, and then about 16 after that too :naughty:

Huge win.

Bob Richards 03-27-2012 09:27 PM

Ugly win. No complaints though. I'll take it.

I'll give Boyle POTG
The Good: Gabby, Hank, McD
The Bad: Mitchell and his turnovers, giving up 2 PPG's to Minny

The Gretzky: The freaking New York Islanders.

BlueshirtBlitz 03-27-2012 09:28 PM

Big 2 points.

Keep winning.

ImIdaho 03-27-2012 09:29 PM

Is it too much to ask for a 5 point cushion?

Onto Winnipeg!

Machinehead 03-27-2012 09:29 PM

It's never easy, always a little frustrating, but once again the results are there. They find a way. Very physical tonight too, I liked that.

Some how, some way, that's 4 out of 5. Maybe it's a huge positive that we somehow find these wins even when it's not going great. :dunno:

1)Boyle
2)McDonagh
3)Fedotenko

Carl Hagelins Flow 03-27-2012 09:30 PM

Anyone just see Prust give Jim Ramsay a huge facewash? Hahahahaha

Thank you Islanders, good night for us!

FromTheSide 03-27-2012 09:31 PM

Have all the people been evacuated off the ledges and cliffs? :sarcasm:

KingWantsCup 03-27-2012 09:32 PM

1.) Lundqvist
2.) Boyle
3.) McD

The Redden: surprisingly, the PK unit.

Killem Dafoe 03-27-2012 09:32 PM

3 points up lets keep this going.

Boyler
Gabs
Dubystache
McDonagh

E Nixson 03-27-2012 09:32 PM

Blues win their game tonight, but that isn't all that important in the grand scheme of things.

Good start to the 3 in 4, gotta pick up two more against the Jets tomorrow and against the Habs on Friday.

I'm wondering if Marty is starting tomorrow, if I remember correctly he has played in all of the games against Winnipeg this year.

BlueShirts88 03-27-2012 09:32 PM

Great 2 points!

OverTheCap 03-27-2012 09:32 PM

Wooo.

I know Rangers fans would have rested easier if this was a blowout win, but a close game like this is exactly what this team will be dealing with in the playoffs. They are getting in playoff mode now and can draw back on these types of wins in the playoffs.

The defense locked it up after Feds scored the game winner. Hank came up huge in the 3rd. Dubi, Boyle, and now Feds appear to be peaking at the right time and hopefully they can carry this play into the postseason.

Jabroni 03-27-2012 09:33 PM

Got the 3 point separation.

Pittsburgh and us have 6 games left.

Killem Dafoe 03-27-2012 09:33 PM

hey guys, before we start talking ****, the Pens didn't have Fleury toni- oh wait.

Net Front Presence 03-27-2012 09:33 PM

1. Gaborik
2. McDonagh
3. Lundqvist

valence 03-27-2012 09:33 PM

ugly win but 3 pts up...yeah!...so staal did get benched after the penalty and hagelin nowhere to be found. Hank with a great 3rd...feds great job to get open...gnite

ThisYearsModel 03-27-2012 09:34 PM

Nice win. McDonagh is an excellent player and the best D man on the roster. He deserves the hat tonight.

Bob Richards 03-27-2012 09:34 PM

The fact that the Isles will do no worse than splitting these 2 games with Pitt is miraculous. If they win on Thursday as well, I don't know what I'd do.
