Stars @ Preds - God Bless America > Star Spangled Banner Edition

It's Noon ... continuing the tradition of Bare MF Bones GDT Editions

Shea Weber 04-05-2012 01:13 PM

Win.

analogkid 04-05-2012 01:18 PM

Getting set for another roadie to Smashville. Hopefully the drive home not include a 2 hour stoppage on I-24. Five hour round trip is more than enough for enough for one night.

Go Preds!

AtlantaWhaler 04-05-2012 01:19 PM

Gotta take back that home advantage. Rinne in.

Go Preds!!!

predfan24 04-05-2012 01:20 PM

As long as the Stars have a sprinkle of hope they will fight to the bitter end. This won't be easy.

Preds311 04-05-2012 01:22 PM

Taking a half day off work and will be at the Bridge tonight. I'll be more than willing to win one of those jersey's for fan appreciation tonight.

I hope the barn gets sold out (if its not already). Should make #24 of the season. Awesome!

ThirdManIn 04-05-2012 01:32 PM

****... I forgot I started the last GDT

My bad, guys. Thanks, Hoarding Ass!

Preds311 04-05-2012 01:33 PM

From what I hear, it should be a sellout. Also heard that there are scarce tickets left to be sold to the 3 games in the playoff's so far.

Coach Parker 04-05-2012 01:59 PM

Boston is resting Chara, Bergeron, Thomas while McQuaid and Boychuk are also resting minor injuries...

So do you think Weber, Suter and Rinne get Saturday or tonight off?

Boston has the division and seed locked up. Preds are a point out of fourth\home ice. I can't imagine they're going to rest anyone.

Legionnaire11 04-05-2012 02:06 PM

When is the last time the finale didn't sell out? Definitely not worried about that.

What I want is for the team to come out with focus, keep everything simple as they get their minds ready for the playoffs. Protect the net, controlling rebounds and team work coming out of the defensive zone, no more soft passes through the middle! Tenacity gaining the offensive zone, pucks to the net, skating for loose pucks and rebounds.

Get some positive momentum heading into the playoffs, I think that is the most important objective in these final games.

only if our playoff position is locked in.... or if we decide we'd be better off with a loss.

I hope we dont rest anyone that's healthy. If someone is playing through an injury right now, that's different.

Go Preds!

Safe travels.

Heard on the radio it was sold out. Won't be an easy one tonight at all.
Dallas is a very capable team and we don't have a good record against them this year.

Cashville 04-05-2012 03:23 PM

This is going to be a bear of a game; you're crazy if you think otherwise. DAL is going to be playing like a bunch of people with the RAGE virus from 28 Days Later given it's win or die for them.

MrMariusz 04-05-2012 03:37 PM

Stars are just as likely to collapse from the pressure of really needing the win, as they have done in the past few games.
I know I'm exposing myself for a jinx here, but I'm fairly confident about a victory tonight.

VFL615* 04-05-2012 03:43 PM

Hit somebody HARDDDDDD! That is all i got to say.

101st_fan 04-05-2012 04:43 PM

We're 1-2 against the Stars this season. Win tonight and we go 50/50 with them on the road and at home. Lose and we have a bad record against them.

Be careful around the glass during pre-game .... Kari is dangerous.

I Will Son 04-05-2012 06:49 PM

Been watching Preds vids and playoff vids all day. Im in playoff mode already.

Win tonight boys!

ThirdManIn 04-05-2012 06:51 PM

I'm stuck at work until 9pm. Hopefully I can stream it. If not I guess it's back to Arabic and/or finishing this novel for lit. :shakehead

Who wants to be productive when there's hockey to watch and beer to drink? Pansy-assed non-hockey fans, that's who!

I Will Son 04-05-2012 07:00 PM

Sick of seeing Yip in. Idk what he has done, or can do better than Halischuk/Smith/Wilson. Trotz sure has replaced Smithson in his love affair

Russian Pred 04-05-2012 07:06 PM

Is the game not on DirecTV? Nevermind, channel 680-1.

I Will Son 04-05-2012 07:10 PM

Anthem singer is FOINE!

landman1 04-05-2012 07:11 PM

Getting ready to board a plane in Denver. Won't get to Nashville til 10:42 p.m. Will be missing all of it. Someone cheer for me.
