Cant wait till 8th seed schools us

FATCHAMALA11 04-07-2012 08:05 PM

Im convinced we pulls a Pens and tanked.

Kel Varnsen 04-07-2012 08:05 PM

New rule: If you're off the bandwagon now, you're not allowed back on for the rest of the playoffs.

Salz 04-07-2012 08:05 PM

Man, everyone needs to relax. We just played half assed games against two teams trying to get home ice in the first round. I would have rather played Florida, but with Backstrom back, Ottawa may be a more friendly matchup right now. Calm the hell down.

RangersFan 04-07-2012 08:05 PM

huge disappointment. how much more incentive do you need to come out of the gates ready to play?

FATCHAMALA11 04-07-2012 08:05 PM

You guys are a bunch of baby quitters after a loss. Its embarassing.

Death By BB Gun 04-07-2012 08:06 PM

That game was poopy. Clear your heads, move on the the next game. And when I say that, I'm referring to you guys.

charlie460 04-07-2012 08:06 PM

Are you serious with the OP there? "This team is a joke?"

Wow.

BlueshirtBlitz 04-07-2012 08:06 PM

They should all rest and remember how to play like they did in January.

DeadPuck 04-07-2012 08:07 PM

Who cares? I'm happy the rangers have made it this far.

Bob Richards 04-07-2012 08:07 PM

Bad game. **** it. It happens

Rangers still steamroll whoever they play in the playoffs.

silverfish 04-07-2012 08:07 PM

Well, be careful what you wish for. I really didn't want to be matched up against Washington, now the Rangers will draw a team they may match up against more poorly in the Sens...

The good thing is, we know they're going to be fast...all Torts and the team needs to do is be prepared for it.

Another good thing, it will be Craig Anderson, a somewhat established goalie, rather than some no name rookie like Varlamov, Neuvirth, or Holtby, standing in the way of the Rangers this time :sarcasm:

Chimp 04-07-2012 08:07 PM

It's almost amusing to count the number of slit arms in here from a "let's just get it over with" game. Regardless how much you try to convince yourself this game was just as important as any other, this was still a team that had already clinched the #1 spot. They didn't play with much intensity and it's hard to blame them for it.

Wow.

Yea it's called my opinion after failing to show up the last two games.

I mean I get to be over dramatic once a year after watching everyone overreact after every single game.

RangersDif 04-07-2012 08:08 PM

I ****ing excited for the playoffs to start, that's all. This game is history now. We'll play Ottawa most likely. Our record:

10/29: Ottawa - Rangers 5-4 OTL (We lost a three goal lead in the 3rd)
11/9: Rangers - Ottawa 3-2 W
1/12: Ottawa - Rangers 3-0 L
3/8: Rangers - Ottawa 1-4 L

That first loss was just ******** the bed in the third...

Glennsoe 04-07-2012 08:08 PM

Hopefully it was a wake up call, only Boyle stepped up..

Fanned On It 04-07-2012 08:08 PM

I love how just because some of us are stating the clearly obvious fact that Hank sucked this game and that the team didn't come out to play, people think we're disowning this team entirely... This game sucked, clearly. Doesn't mean I think the sky is falling..

Captain Monglobster 04-07-2012 08:09 PM

No injuries in a meaningless game. I'd chalk that up as a win. Don't have to play Ovechkin and Varlamov 2.0 in the first round. Another win.

Kershaw 04-07-2012 08:09 PM

Dear god, it's simply unbearable to go on here after a loss. Unbelievable. And it's in a meaningless game to boot.

We outplayed them, we out-shot them, we out-hustled them and their goalie stood on his head.

HatTrick Swayze 04-07-2012 08:09 PM

Really coming together at the right time...

Ottawa is not a great matchup for us. Not thrilled.

New York RKY 04-07-2012 08:09 PM

I think that we have trouble with OTT's speed. If we can keep them from coming through the neutral zone with speed I think our defense can hold their own.

people are hilarious..........first in the East people........be happy the last game of the yr didnt mean making the playoffs or not

I have a hard time seeing this team losing 2 in a row to end the yr then 4 of 7 vs the Sens...........they got this one.....Hank will bounce back

trilobyte 04-07-2012 08:10 PM

Last game of a great season.

Something tells me the Rangers are going to be ready when it`s time to play. All you have to do is see how they took it to Washington today (no, I didn`t see the whole game, just the third).

They can do that, and they can beat Ottawa.

Muh 04-07-2012 08:10 PM

****** loss, but it is what it is. Put that one behind us and get ready for the playoffs.

At first I thought the first few posts were jokes, but I may be wrong. We had a great regular season and this one game does not show who we are.

Sens are ****ed. Lets go Rangers.
