I want to be the very best.

Like no one ever was.

Colt45Blast 04-07-2012 09:48 PM

Im not going to take the Blackhawks for granted. Just one game at a time and do what we got to do to win.

TGOTC 04-07-2012 09:51 PM

Toews missing a few games would be huge for us.

This. we are playing well right now, but this is a whole nother level. I still can't wait for the playoffs to start.

Redcoyote 04-07-2012 09:59 PM

Lets go team!

Two good teams. Lets play our game and I believe we are capable of coming out on top.

Muppet 04-07-2012 10:02 PM

Easy. Coyotes in 6.

Next.

XX 04-07-2012 10:20 PM

Underdogs, despite winning the regular season series 3-1. And having home ice. Gotta love it.

SweYote 04-07-2012 10:23 PM

As Phoenix fans are very much aware of, the playoffs is largely a goaltender's duel. I feel very good about Smith vs Crawford right now. :yo:

TeamTippett 04-07-2012 10:27 PM

Former Coyote Mike Johnson just predicted the Coyotes system will frustrate Chicago and Coyotes would prevail

XX 04-07-2012 10:29 PM

This year, the Yotes are following the system much more closely. And we've got a goalie that revels in competition, rather than run away from it. Smitty is a better teammate and professional in just about every way.

That's exactly why they were my preferred opponent. Home ice is just a bonus.

And he recovers quickly from Rusty Klesla attacks

Can't stand the Hawks. And the Coyotes have always been my 2nd team in the West, even after multiple playoff meetings the past couple of years got the blood boiling a bit.

So yeah, go Yotes. I'll be pulling for you guys. :)

Wile E Coyotes 04-07-2012 11:12 PM

PLAYOFFS! GO COYOTES!!!!!

I like the Coyotes, too, but Crawford looked very good today against the Wings. He looked on top of his game. With the type of speed that Chicago possesses, Boedker will play a huge role in this series.

Really...? Despite bein a former Coyote he's never been really seemed biased towards the team. Anything but really. Pretty pragmatic about stuff. Kinda why he was one of my favorite Yotes. Anyway, to hear that from him is interesting.

Naych_PHX 04-07-2012 11:27 PM

Gonna be fun to see Raffi Torres go against these guys again.

I was just about to say the same thing. Raffi was born for playoff hockey. I'm sure we're all pumped to see what he's got in the bag this time around.

Coyotes89 04-07-2012 11:40 PM

Please no Friday night games at Jobing.com arena...the only night im stuck working

awfulwaffle 04-07-2012 11:44 PM

playoffs begin wednesday, that would mean a 3 day rest for Smith, I like that.

I'm just hoping for no more ridiculous early games on NBC but we're probably gonna be shafted on that one.

Some guy on the hawks board says based on Chicago's arena availability a Thursday start to the series makes the most sense, but we'll see.

Naych_PHX 04-07-2012 11:47 PM

Personally, I have no problem starting Thursday. Plenty of rest, sure. Too much? We'll see, half the teams will deal with the same thing. With Smith ending the season on a back to back, I'd have no problem with an extra day of rest. Get Aucoin back hopefully. Morris this time, he didn't play at all last playoffs. Hell of a Dman in OEL, who is >than Jovo, obviously. Then hope Roszival physical presence holds up, without having to force Schlemko or Stone in there.

Not that it mattered given the final result, but Morris was awful awful awful last season. At least this season he's been decent the last month or so. Unfortunately he and Yandle are competing to see who can replace Jovo. And I don't mean his minutes.
