This is why we won the East, boys and girls. This is why we won the East.

Loffen 04-12-2012 08:45 PM

Two weak goals against. Oh well. Great game for the most part.

Woot!

qwertyaas 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

Great way to come out. Keep the uptempo game throughout the playoffs.

Torey Krug Fan 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

I thought Anisimov was great today. Skated very strong and the assists were great too.

IBleedNYRBlue 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

Well played game.

Hank played well, Cally was awesome, Hags is a ****ing beast.

nevesis 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

15...

RangerBlue24 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

Solid win. On to Game 2.

BroadwayBlues 04-12-2012 08:46 PM

1 down 15 to go.

Muh 04-12-2012 08:47 PM

Great start to the series. Sens came out hot in that 2nd, but Hank stood his ground and we capped it off with those 2 big goals. No better way to go into the locker room. Then Hagelin forecheck pass to a wide open Richards was icing on the cake.

**** yeah.

Callahan
Boyle
Hank

ImIdaho 04-12-2012 08:47 PM

And after all was said and done, Boyle with the GWG! :amazed:

darko 04-12-2012 08:47 PM

15 to go.

BlueshirtBlitz 04-12-2012 08:47 PM

Those two goals mean ****. Ottawa was thoroughly taken care of tonight. Hank was great and mostly everyone else was really good too (for most of the game, at least.)

GregSirico 04-12-2012 08:47 PM

not bad for "the worst ranked #1 seed ever" as some call us

LeetchisGod 04-12-2012 08:47 PM

We play today, we win today. :yo:

Stugots 04-12-2012 08:48 PM

Did anyone notice that kid reaching for a high-five from Cally and then Arty high-fived the back of his hand? LOL

JCresty 04-12-2012 08:48 PM

Lots of good tonight and some of those goods were from players that were question marks coming in. Step seems to be a little nervous, a lot of off sides and plays like that. Henrik was strong. We have to keep within that hard style 60 minutes a game and hopefully Torts will deliver that message.

Go time fellas!!!!

4-2 Rangers.

Quoted for awesomeness.

Only 15 more wins to go. When we flexed our offensive muscles the 2nd half of the 2nd period OTT looked overmatched. Need to play like that more often.

Parker McDonald 04-12-2012 08:48 PM

Wooooooo!!!!!!

bumrusherer 04-12-2012 08:49 PM

One of those situations where you are happy that we won without playing our best game. But also upset that we didnt play our best game plus, didnt focus for 60 minutes on both ends.

But at this stage of the season, just win.

1. Callahan
2. Anisimov
3. Lundqvist

Haha no, but I laughed from picturing it in my head. Gotta love AA, he played a good game tonight.

Great game, they totally coasted that last 9 minutes. All that matters is the W.
