Video highlights of the Whale's 3-0 win in Game 1 over Bridgeport

Jarkko Immonen 04-21-2012 05:33 PM

Big game two tonight. Could head home tomorrow with a chance to sweep. JT Miller taking warmups. Lines coming in soon I am sure.

silverfish 04-21-2012 05:37 PM

Tonights lines look to be Newbury, JAM, Thomas / Miller, Hrivik, Wellman / Grant, Tessier, Deveaux / Bourque, Owens and Thuresson

Jarkko Immonen 04-21-2012 05:39 PM

Was just gonna post that. Like the looks of those lines.

Jarkko Immonen 04-21-2012 08:52 PM

Rangers lose...but check out them Whale! Talbot with back to back shutouts. A sweep tomorrow would be sweeeeeet.

Trxjw 04-21-2012 09:24 PM

Looks like Wellman and Hrivik played well together tonight.

Hellion 04-21-2012 09:32 PM

Good to hear, Go Whale!

silverfish 04-21-2012 09:46 PM

Honestly shocked the Whale went into Bridgeport and stole 2. Rangers need to take notes.

White Plains Batman 04-21-2012 09:52 PM

Well, if the Whale win their series and the Rangers can't take care of business send Krieder to the Whale and then one of McLIrath or St. Croix will be joining too.

BigDaddyNYR 04-21-2012 11:02 PM

Live in hartford area. Goign to game 3, have gone to about 15 games this year, not a great team, but you can see talent at times.

Lets go whale!!

Jarkko Immonen 04-21-2012 11:08 PM

Kreider to the Whale would be incredible.

If Talbot continues playing like he is, they could go a few rounds. That's the difference, it seems. I haven't seen the games, but it appears they are allowing a lot of shows...not sure how many of them are great chances though.

dethomas07 04-22-2012 08:53 AM

hows JT looking, is he playing?

DMPD 04-22-2012 09:27 AM

Go Whale!

Get some of those young kids confidence and a winning environment. Set them up for success at next year's camp.

Game 2 highlights: http://soundtigers.neulion.com/sound...ole.jsp?id=937

As the NY Rangers totally stunk last night (looks like they'd rather be golfing), who is eligible to come down to the Whale? Kreider? Hagelin? Mitchell? Bickel?

Dangleberry 04-22-2012 06:30 PM

Tied at 3, heading into OT.

Anthony Mauro 04-22-2012 06:34 PM

Hrivik? Who is this guy?

BigDaddyNYR 04-22-2012 06:59 PM

If were still alive and Boyle comes back from concussion, you think that Kreider would be sent down?? LIve in hartford, would love to see him in person and espically in the AHL enviroment, could really show a lot of his skills.

MrMariusz 04-22-2012 07:06 PM

Congrats Connecticut! 3-0 series win in OT, from a last-second pp shot!

silverfish 04-22-2012 07:06 PM

Get out the brooms! Wellman in OT! :yo:

Jarkko Immonen 04-22-2012 07:25 PM

Just got home! That was great. Team looked really sharp in the first, kind of muddled through the second, probably a bit tired. Couldn't hold a lead but a great pass from Wade Redden to Casey Wellman ends it in OT.

For those of you asking, J.T. Miller looked pretty good and played fairly confidently. Made a few nice passes playing with Newbury and JAM.

Osminator 04-22-2012 07:28 PM

Awesome game and series!!!! Wow, playing waaay different than in the reg season!

I guess scratching a couple of deadbeats, inserting hungry kids, hot goaltender... Sweet!

Id like to see more from JAM, Deveaux and Newbury in round 2!

BigDaddyNYR 04-22-2012 10:19 PM

Was at game tonight.

And man was I impressed. The intensity was great by the Whale, and they showed me some things they didnt show me all year.

Cant wait for next series, never know they could win the cup.

Never bad to have a bunch of guys in your system that have that "winning instenct"

eco's bones 04-23-2012 02:26 AM

Hrivik 4 goals in 3 games. Bourque seems to have found himself as well.

Sign JAM and Hrivik to NHL contracts for next year.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:02 PM.
