good. Diehards will find em and casual and opposing fans will likely not.

Like I said in the other thread, if they are going to do this they need to make the rats available at Party City. I don't understand how this wouldn't make sense, driving traffic and sales to a major partner and all.

Ridiculous...
Just because Marty Brodeur made some comments, it puts pressure on our team to do something about it ! Ridiculous ! I can't wait until we eliminate those Devils morons, who are too good to play against us and everything... :shakehead |

George Richards #njDevils fans throwing rats on ice during late face off forced #FlaPanthers to not sell rats at arena anymore. After goals not a big deal Im comfortable with it. We all know how to get them and diehards dont mind the extra effort. |
And now that real rats are easier to get hold of than plastic ones... :sarcasm:

GR also says though:
Get your #FlaPanthers rubber rats at the iceplex: $5, $4 and $1.50 ... Or check toys r us pic.twitter.com/fUoHIuA2 |

The selling of them at the arena cheapend the tradition IMHO anyway. |
I can't believe some stupid NJ Devils fan is forcing the Panthers to stop selling rats at the BAC. I actually brought up the possibility of that happening earlier in the season but never actually thought it would happen.

LOL couldn't resist. And for anybody that wants rats Spencer's in all the malls has rubber rats. |
If anyone wants rats, I can get them for 5 a piece at a Halloween store I live near, the same size they sell at BAC. Let me know, I'm going to every playoff game so just hit me up. I sold Desert Panther a few last game!

Regardless of whether devils fans threw them or not. Its imperative that any panthers fan going to the game in newark have an arsenal of rats to litter the ice there.
|
i think you mean a litter of Rats to litter the ice.
|
Ughh.. it's always a couple idiots who ruin it for everyone else. /fail
|
Wait.... so let me get this straight...
SOME of you* are actually BUYING the organization's charge that it's "Devils' fans" that are the ones responsible for throwing the rats onto the ice during game play? Really? From a team that sells $5 made in China rats IN THE ARENA and makes them available to an entire near capacity crowd? I mean, sure, I'm sure there was a Devils fan or two throwing rats, but somehow intuition tells me that there were likely far more Florida fans throwing plastic rats onto the surface. Seriously, blaming Devils fans is embarrassing. Panthers Somehow Blame Devils Fans For Ruining Rat-Throwing Tradition http://deadspin.com/5904348/panthers...wing-tradition *I've duly noted that some of you have acknowledged the ridiculousness of the Panthers' accusation so I'm not lumping everyone in |
I think we should just throw any Devils fan on the ice that ends up throwing a rat onto the ice. That's just a thought :)
|
I was watching that game. Some rats made it onto the ice strictly because fans thought time had expired before a touch-up after an icing, or that an icing was waved off, when the whistle had gone and the clock stopped with a couple seconds to go instead.
Fans thought the game was over, and they were wrong, big deal. |
