I like the "In theory" part of your post.

Victorious Secret 04-25-2012 07:57 PM

Brodin ranked the 30th best prospect by HF in their new spring list.

I'm expecting Granlund and Coyle to be in the top 20, but thats awesome that Brodin starts off the wild at 30. I hope he bulks up and plays for us this year

Victorious Secret 04-25-2012 10:39 PM

Yea, I don't know if their weight is right. 166 is pretty damn low. I've seen him as high as 176, though.

Granlund should be pretty high up, hopefully Coyle is up there, too. Doubt we see Larsson or Hackett that high up.

EliteProspects has him listed at 170. Hockeydb has him at 172. I wonder if we'll get current stats out of rookie camp this summer. Or perhaps one of those international tournaments he's in posts height/weight. EliteProspects has him up to 6'1" now too.

As for other ranked people, it's almost certainly just Coyle and Granlund. Goalies don't usually get that kind of loving, although I know Bernier was up there for a while. Larsson's so far under the radar that there was never a chance for him to make an appearance.

forthewild 04-26-2012 08:15 AM

that list is ********, to have him below some guys like beauliou is bs, kid is higher then some listed there. two years of SEL hockey, key in swedens win for Gold, he even gets some time with the mens team for WC.

i can see both granlund and coyle get shafted.

Is he a Toronto/Montreal/Edmonton/New England team prospect? No, but he made the top 30? Amazing.

thestonedkoala 04-26-2012 10:52 AM

Eddy prospects are always going to be ranked higher than Minnesota's prospect. Just the nature of the beast.

Spawnisen 04-26-2012 01:55 PM

Oh who cares. They'll all see later :)

For the most part, I agree.

It was posted in the Coyle thread, but I thought it belonged here, too. Coyle is rated #18

Goddamnit, just realized the Sea Dogs/Sags game 4 was on TV as well.

It's still 0-0, mid first. I just saw they will replay the game tomorrow afternoon so I will record and watch it at that time.

Chrisd 04-26-2012 07:43 PM

nice

1-0 now St John up.

Phillips to Coyle....goal. Lone assist to Phillips.

Fel 96 04-26-2012 07:53 PM

Coyle has now 1 goal, 1 assist.

Will make video(s) tomorrow.

It looks like Gui Latendresse is enjoying the game...
"Quel plaisir de voir du beau calibre de jeu chicout vs st John méchante belle game et de beaux souvenirs. Bravo lhjmq"

Fel 96 04-26-2012 09:00 PM

Yeah, he's there. They showed him in the crowd.

OT coming up.

Fel 96 04-26-2012 09:19 PM

Coyle with the OT goal!

Sea Dogs are now leading the series 3-1.

usernam* 04-26-2012 09:22 PM

Coyle had 2G, 1A tonight?

Fel 96 04-26-2012 09:23 PM

Yup and Phillips got 2 assists.

melinko 04-26-2012 09:24 PM

Big game for Coyle and Philips.

5 pts combined.

Boxscore shows Coyle looking terrible on faceoffs, you watch the game live Fel? If so how did he look?

Charlie Coyle's OT celebration was pulling out a photo of Jack Parker at centre ice. #CellyWishes #SirCharles

Can't wait to see that.

melinko 04-26-2012 09:31 PM

Why would he have a picture of Parker with him?

He must use it for motivation or something.

BLBarmada 04-26-2012 09:36 PM

Thank you Coyle !!!!!! God how I wish Corbeil wasn't our goalie(Seadogs)

I would love to see the YouTube of that Celly..
