Congrats to the New York Rangers

Super happy for you guys. As much as it sucks (terribly) right now, I'm proud to say that we took you guys to 7. I'll be rooting for the Rangers as the playoffs continue.

Super happy for Hank.
Never EVER let McDonagh go.

Good luck in your run.

You shot-blocking ********** ;)

SingnBluesOnBroadway 04-26-2012 08:40 PM

Never want to face you again.

useref15 04-26-2012 08:41 PM

Sens gave us all we could handle, and they looked great at times. What a great series!

Kane One 04-26-2012 08:41 PM

Thanks. I was planning on not accepting your congrats, but since words can't describe how happy I am.

Wraparounds 04-26-2012 08:41 PM

Nope. Never again. You guys got a hell of a team. With the Bruins and Penguins done, I'm not scared of any team left.

you guys gave us more of a fight than almost anyone predicted. awesome series for the Senators as well.

if this IS Alfredsson's final season, its gonna be a shame for sure.

Kershaw 04-26-2012 08:41 PM

Good series and I hope you guys become even more successful in the next few years.

M0rbid 04-26-2012 08:41 PM

Great game for both teams. Ott has a bright future.

MainDotC 04-26-2012 08:42 PM

Good game.

Dantes19 04-26-2012 08:43 PM

That was a brutal series. Ottawa was a very, very good team - far better than their seed would indicate. I agree that Ottawa's future is very bright for sure.

That said, on to the next round. Time to focus on the Capitals and areas for improvement. Anyone know if/when Boyle is expected back?

Lmao I couldn't have said it better myself. This was a great series OP. May we never face each other again, a little too close!

SoulChaser17 04-26-2012 08:43 PM

Good job, Rangers. I lost hope for you guys a few times, the Sens are damn good. Happy you pulled through! Blues/Rangers finals still a possibility, let's do it!

OverTheCap 04-26-2012 08:43 PM

Ottawa was an immensely tough opponent, props to them. They really adjusted after Game 1.

Could be the beginning of a little rivalry... I hate a lot of Ottawa players more than I ever did before.

MDL8981 04-26-2012 08:43 PM

Good series...your team was a nightmare matchup for us and it showed. That was the most intense playoff series the Rangers have been involved in since probably 1994.

NYR7 04-26-2012 08:44 PM

YAY! Seriously though, no more game 7's!

SixthSens 04-26-2012 08:44 PM

Congrats on the win, Rangers. Good luck throughout the rest of the playoffs :)

nyrpassion 04-26-2012 08:44 PM

holy ****.

mug25 04-26-2012 08:44 PM

Props to the Sens.

How about you just give us Neil and we'll give you Dubinsky? LOL

SingnBluesOnBroadway 04-26-2012 08:45 PM

Hard to believe the turning point was a 1-0 loss. After Game 5, the Rangers were a different team.

Your team played very well and was a nightmare to deal with. And they're only going to get better...

Still curious: anyone know if/when Brian Boyle is expected back?

Killem Dafoe 04-26-2012 08:46 PM

It was such a tough battle. Congrats to the Sens for giving us a helluva fight.

I despised Neil in this series (as expected), but that guy is a warrior -- exactly the type of guy you want on your team in the playoffs.

Yeah, but he was total class in the hand shake.

JeffMangum 04-26-2012 08:48 PM

There's no timetable for Boyle.

There's been almost no updates rwally

Yep. Now that the series is done, I can be rational with Neil.

What a player. Really got into our heads at times
