USA will run over france,my prediction 7:1 USA wins it.

jonas2244 05-03-2012 11:00 AM

France with their best teams since a long time, not an opponent you can just run over. But they will probably concentrate on the important games (KAZ, SVK, BLR, SWI) so won't put everything into this game.

TollefsenFan 05-03-2012 12:11 PM

I guess the frenchies got this under perfect control ;)

kes81sel 05-03-2012 12:26 PM

uh yeah USA wins 5-1

TheFatOne 05-03-2012 12:47 PM

Close game. 4-3 to USA.

Baba Booey 05-03-2012 12:57 PM

Considering that the U.S roster is awful 4-1 U.S

EbencoyE 05-03-2012 01:17 PM

They almost beat us last year, but our roster is slightly better this year, so I'm going to say USA 4-2.

Balderis19 05-03-2012 01:30 PM

First game for USA, doesnt look( atleast on paper) as if they will have a strong team this year anyway - this is as good of a chance for an early upset as there will be. My prediction 3:2 for France

White Goodman 05-03-2012 01:30 PM

Da Costa, baby!

Inub0i 05-03-2012 01:52 PM

What time is this in PST?

And Considering our roster for Team USA, I'm gonna say 4-2 USA.

Welcome to the world of European NHL fans! ;)

Rabid Ranger 05-03-2012 02:11 PM

I don't think the roster is that bad. Legit #1 NHL goalie in Howard, a very mobile and offensively gifted defense, and a decent top six forward group with some solid role players. I'm not predicating gold, but I definately think this team will handle the lesser lights and give the more named teams a run for their money.

Agreed. I think the forward group is better than the last US WC entry. That top line should be dangerous regardless of matchup.

Tomas W 05-03-2012 02:24 PM

The US is good enough get a medal, IF all players is willing work for it 100%.

If Howard plays like he did before his injury, the US have a good chance to do some damage to other top nations.

Finnpin 05-03-2012 02:42 PM

USA will destroy France and I think they will have good tournament.
